Beautiful, however it was under construction when we visited so we couldn’t actually see the real ‘fountain’ itself, but you could still see the monuments from some distance. The area and streets are very narrow and gets tightly packed when it’s very crowed but still worth seeing - there are also lots of nice little shops and gelato’s just around the fountain.

Breathtaking and amazing place, probably the most wonderful POI in all of Rome, much more interesting than overpriced Colosseum. Even the crowd can't take any of its beauty. P.S. Don't forget to throw in some coins and wish something ;-)

It's beautiful. I recommend seeing it at least a couple times at various hours of the day. (I recommend going very early in the morning is 5am or very very late or 12a for the least crowds. I also recommend looking into what days it's fenced off for cleaning. If you go during a busy time, there will be A LOT of people to the point that you won't be able to move. Also, there's a lot of "influencers" coming here and taking long photo shoots. So if you want to be in and out , I recommend going during the off hours.
