Our experience at Trapizzino started rough but ended wonderfully (food and service was great!). When we arrived, we were the first where it says “Wait here for table”. No one spoke to us for about 10-15 minutes, even with several attempts to ask staff. We were told there’s a list, but our name was not taken. But once they did engage us, we were seated and we had a wonderful server- so helpful and kind, and amazing food. Both the Trapizzino and suplí were great! We would definitely return. I would suggest to the restaurant to have someone dedicated to taking names at the front.

I needed something quick and delicious as I had just landed... I've seen this place all over YouTube and it was straight up surreal being inside! Tasty and filling, I opted for the cacciatore chicken and 2 suppli - 1 classic and 1 amatricana. I had been following a strict keto diet for many months and there's no way around it with this carb heavy spot lol.

We heard so much about this place online we decided to try it. We ordered the one with meatball and one with chicken and we liked the chicken one better. I def liked it but i feel like its a little overhyped. Great friendly staff tho super nice and attentive with great wine recommendations. We also tried as dessert some kind of coffee granita, it was ok little to strong in flavor for our liking.

Stopped here for lunch and a beet. Tasty sandwiches but not many vegan options although the staff did accommodate to make a vegan version.

The specials of the day vary and some days will have more vegan options so best to check that if you're going plant based.

Otherwise the staff are so lovely, friendly, welcoming and polite. Great service and very affordable prices given its popularity amongst locals and tourists!

Will go again to try the vegan options next time!

Absolutely amazing flavors! My Italian daughter-in-law recommended Trapizzino, and it exceeded expectations!  The bread is perfection, and the flavors of the meats are amazing!  We tried almost every sandwich and loved them all! The vegetarian one was also phenomenal.  Absolutely amazing flavors!  Make sure to go to the one in Trastevere!
