A Milanese iconic restaurant with a timeless atmosphere, great food, and service.
When they changed location, we thought we had lost one of our favorite places to dine, but now they are back in an even more cozy, refined, and beautiful location.
Vincenzo, the host, is an extraordinary host, and the food is great, as always. They will also go out of their way to accommodate you.
If you love classic, original, and authentic Italian refined food, locations, and experiences, this is a place to visit over and over again.
Il Baretto never disappoints, and too many restaurants should learn from them, but it is not a simple task to match this place.

Loved this spot serving traditional Milanese dishes with the nicest staff in Milan! They made us feel so welcome and even provided child’s seat for my nephew. What a beautiful restaurant with delicious dishes (everything was very good), will definitely come back when we are here again!

Such a beautiful place in a heart of the luxury shopping district! It has a long history and if I’m not mistaken it’s there 3d location in Milan. This place is very new and has an absolutely beautiful atmosphere. The foot was fantastic all 2 times that I have visited the place for a dinner. The only thing I don’t recommend is an Octopus, unless you like when it was fried in oil (very heavy to digest).

The tables are very small, at least where I was seated in the garden section. The tables are also extremely close to each other which makes you feel uncomfortable since you have no privacy. The staff is mixed feelings: one of them was great and the other two very bad. The food is very healthy but not sophisticated and even close to vulgar. The actual restaurant is nice but is extremely noisy.
