As long as you are well aware of what you're walking into (extremely expensive, very small portioned platings), I think this place is a beautiful experience.  The service is spectacular; just a single example-- Since visiting Italy I noticed servers rarely refill water glasses unless asked -- here, mine was not halfway empty before being refilled. The atmosphere is very luxurious, beautiful decor everywhere. Pre fixed 5 course menu, and all the dishes we were served were masterfully crafted with layers of different flavors, was clear why this place received a Michelin star award. I think in the end it was just over 200 euro per person with a couple glasses of wine each, but if you don't mind price it's absolutely worth the trip.

This restaurant was one of the best I’ve visited in Florence, not to say in whole Italy as well.
We were welcomed very warmly by the staff, who immediately brought us a beverage list and water. They were very helpful when we ordered our food and regularly checked on us to see if we were doing well.
Before our courses, we received little bites made entirely with radish, which were very delicious. I still can’t believe how many different ways there are to eat a simple radish.
The appetisers were delicious and so were the main courses as well. The atmosphere was great and definitely fitted the aesthetic of the restaurant.
I had a great time and I definitely recommend visiting.

I wanted to sit outside on the terrace that's why I had booked this spot, I understand their reason that it's hot but wish they had emailed and informed us about the changes.

Food was good wasn't as hungry the appetizers and breads were better than the mains

They did receive 1 Michelin star

The restaurant is tucked away in the hotel's beautiful gardens and a culinary journey awaits. Food timing is perfect and the sommeliers are wonderful.
