Our tour with the boat captain Bert in Amsterdam was simply unforgettable! Although we were initially late, we were able to reschedule the tour without any issues, which already set a great tone for the day. The half-hour wait was more than worth it. In the end, we were incredibly lucky to have a private boat tour with Bert. We had the boat, which was beautiful, well-maintained, and open, all to ourselves.

Bert tailored the tour specifically to our wishes and even took a special route for our six-year-old son. The highlight was definitely the stop at the zoo, where we could observe giraffes and elephants directly from the boat – a unique experience our son won’t forget anytime soon! But that wasn’t all: Bert impressed us with his extensive knowledge of Amsterdam. He shared many fascinating stories and brought the city’s rich history to life in a very engaging way.

Overall, the tour was a true highlight of our visit to Amsterdam. Bert amazed us with his friendliness, expertise, and flexibility. We highly recommend this tour and without hesitation, give it ten out of five stars!

What an absolute blast! 😍 A good friend of ours invited us to join them on a self-driving boat tour of Amsterdam. What a brilliant way to see this beautiful city. You are given a map of the canals that has a specific route for you to follow. The trip is quite leisurely,  and takes a couple of hours. We were allowed to bring food and drinks, so we all brought something to share! It was awesome! I can't recommend this highly enough. ❤

Sebastian was funny and friendly, he provided a very good and interesting explanation about the city’s history. We were lucky to be only 2 on the boat so we got a private tour!

Enjoyed Eco Boats' smaller vessel canal tour. Bert, the tour guide, spoke fluent English and shared historical facts, cultural insights, and a few funny jokes. The one-hour experience was educational and entertaining. It is well worth the €20 and even includes a beverage.

Great tour: we choose the one at 18:00 and it was really nice. Better than the bigger boat because you can navigate also the narrow canals. The price includes a drink. Our guide, Bram, was friendly and explained fun facts during the trip.
