This market is right in the center of the city and a seafood lover’s destination! The variety is huge, and the prices are affordable. Such a local experience strolling through the market and checking out all the fresh catches. Perfect spot to grab some top-quality seafood and soak in the local scene. If you are in Valencia you simply must go there! Just walk around and give a try to some regional specialities. The place has variety of choices and I am sure if you need some groceries it’s the place you should go. I bought some special bred and the regional drink and it was an experience I have to admit. All the selling people are super nice and very helpful.

Why would you want to spend time on your city break holiday going to a produce market?
I'll tell you why! Because it's brilliant.
The architecture is lovely in the modernisme style. The building and therefore the market is huge and the variety of stalls and produce is amazing.
If I lived in Valencia I'd be tempted to go every day! Either to buy produce to take home and eat/cook, or to eat and drink in the market in the many places that are dotted around it.
I definitely don't usually get excited about markets, but this one should be on your list of places to visit in Valencia
