Lovely staff and reception areas. Beds extremely comfortable and lovely turn down service. I booked superior room and it was down in the basement with no sunlight at all on the mini terrace which wasn’t clear from the website. Appears to have grounds in the photos which isn’t the case in reality.

Service was excellent, as the employees were all very kind and also helpful.

The ambience is spectacular; I love the entrance of hotel and the lobby. It’s full of life.

So grateful for the free bikes made available by the hotel for the guests. It makes a perfect journey to the city center, which is a 25 minutes walk, but an 8 minutes ride.

Breakfast was excellent, served in a luxurious well decorated hall, and also not crowded at all (as the total number of rooms in the hotel is less than 15, i guess). I specially liked egg Benedict, as well as the nice attitude of the people who served us.

Plenty of dedicated spacious parking places are available right in front of the hotel gate, for only 12 euro per night.

Our room was a bit dark (small window), but the view could more than compensate!

My only negative comment: although there is a decently large safe box in the room, the instruction as how to use it was not available. And it was nearly impossible to figure it out!

We loved it! The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. A true boutique hotel. The breakfast was delicious. We loved the hospitality and kindness of the staff. Special thanks to Ane, Virginia, and JM for their attention to detail and for going above and beyond with their help.

Paid a fortune to have the worst experience and night sleep in my life. Family trip, first time in SS, decided to spend a little more and book with Hotel Villa Soro. Worst Mistake!
Luxurious in the common areas, however they placed us in the basement with a room with no windows, cardboard mattresses and bad smells room.
The hotel is a bit far from where everything is, so be prepared.
My advice, don’t be fooled, stay somewhere else, avoid the bad sleep and the disappointment. Stayed from Aug 23-25 2024

One word: phenomenal. Everything was wonderful, from the staff, the room, the details, the bed, the breakfast, the views, everything was above and beyond. My husband and I stayed here in late November with our 18 month old son. Everyone was very accommodating and kind. The location to downtown is a 15 minute walk, but we don’t mind, as we enjoyed to walk while enjoying the beautiful scenery.
