Very cozy and nice place with a great atmosphere and welcoming people. Food portions are very big and tasty, so my wife and I would give it 6 stars if we could. We are definitely coming here again!

It’s a complete new experience. You eat with your hands and from new treasure box of flavors. We order Zigni with lamb and Beb Ainetu which was a mix plate with several chicken and vegetarian dishes.
The service staff was very nice and helpful but busy and forgot our order, maybe we went in a busy hour

I've been here a fair few times and every single time I'm blown away by the food here. It's an incredible mix of spices and immensely unique to anything you've likely had before.

The menu is pretty vast and I definitely recommend getting a 2/3 things to try if you're a group of 2 hungry folk or 3 looking for a different kind of meal.

Service certainly varies, staffing numbers (and presumably in the kitchen too) in here varies quite a bit which can lead to waits of up to an hour or so. This is totally unpredictable so just be prepared to set aside about 3 hours if you go to cover both eventualities. I've been here during both slow and fast service, it appears to be a small set of close-knit staff from the community (Who do a brilliant job at showcasing Eritrean food in Stockholm I must add!) running the place.
The Sunday brunch looks wonderful, though I've never been before and I can imagine it is very busy owing to the fact it appears to be the go-to place after Sunday service!

The interior is really unique and the location is wonderful too. A great place to go on cold nights but also in the summer given its location in Central Stockholm!

If you're visiting or a local looking for something a bit special, definitely consider Jebena. The food is well worth the wait and given the close-knit staff, they only want to serve the very best Eritrean food, something that is rather hard to find in other cities.

They also do a great range of vegetarian options too so if you have non meat-eaters, they'll be sure to find something that will appeal to them too!

Cozy, relaxed place hidden underground. The chicken, lamb and beef were a bit dry for our liking but the sauces were all flavorful. Like everyone said, service could be improved but it’s a one-woman show there and the restaurant was quite full when we were there, so let’s cut her some slack. Most importantly food is delicious.

What an absolutely lovely place! The food is incredibly good and everything is decorated with so much attention to detail. We were served by Roma and she was so nice. I will always come back here  when I'm in Stockholm and advise you to visit too!
