What a place to enjoy meatballs! Our friends took us to this famous restaurant to try meatballs during our one day stay in Stockholm. And it was not time spent well. We didn’t have reservations so had to wait for 20 mins but it was worth. We tried chefs choice meatballs, Lingonberry juice and also asked them for vegan gravy. Everything was very delicious. Staff were very friendly and ambience was nice too. They also have vegan options too.
I am also including photo of the toilet that surprised us with so many hand towels to use after the business 😅
Must try restaurant if you are in Stockholm.

Good quality meatballs that make you feel at home. The interior design is really cool. Nice staff. All the meatballs are gluten-free and they offer vegan option as well. Definitely book a table in advance or come right at opening hours because in a short matter of time the restaurant gets packed and a long line forms. It is worth the wait though.

We visited this spot in November and had an overall positive experience. The staff was friendly, the food was enjoyable, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Meatballswere flavorful, with a variety of options for different tastes and knowing the origin of the meat. While they weren’t the best we’ve ever had, they were definitely good.

One downside was the wait. Upon arrival, we stood in line for about 20 minutes before realizing we needed to register our name. Once we did, we were given an estimated wait time of 40 minutes. Fortunately, we found a nearby spot to grab a drink and returned after 40 minutes. Still, standing outside in the cold for an extended period would have been quite uncomfortable.

A few suggestions to enhance the waiting experience: adding some outdoor heaters, standing tables, or even offering drinks to those waiting could make it much more pleasant. Additionally, the availability of just one toilet for such a busy venue not ideal.

Despite this, the branding, ambiance, and excellent service stood out. We’d definitely come back, but ideally in warmer weather or with a reservation to avoid the long wait.

Quick and friendly service. Be sure to make a reservation very early if you're planning to eat here. This place is perfect for both dinner or lunch.
The choice of menus is small and therefore not difficult. You can choose between lots of specialty meat, like bear, moose, reindeer, boar and veal.
There is also a vegan option.
The menu is completely focussed on the balls, so if you don't like balls, you shouldn't visit.
The garlic bread was a nice starter and can be highly recommended!

We came here for dinner during our weekend stay in Stockholm as I’d had this saved on my list of places to visit for a very long time. We arrived just before six in the evening and didn’t have to queue. The restaurant was incredibly busy with only seating available at the bar so if you’re wanting a table, we suggest pre booking. The atmosphere was buzzing, decor great and service was very efficient and entertaining. The benefit of sitting at the bar was that you get to enjoy watching the preparations of the dishes. We enjoyed our food, I had the vegan meatballs and my husband had the beef/pork both presented in the Swedish Classic. My husband wished he had gone for the meatball feast as it is considerably larger. The drinks were lovely and I enjoyed my alcohol free gin and tonic a la meatballs which had a lovely lingonberry twist. All in all I think it’s an enjoyable experience and if we’re back in Stockholm again soon I’m sure my husband would enjoy trying some of the other unique flavours they have to offer.
