The kids liked the chicken tenders, large portion of fries for lids meal. The chicken is good, we ordered 2 chicken and 2 wings. Gave us an extra wing! Winner!

I'm not sure why bars close their kitchens early on St. Patrick's Day. That's precisely the time that people need food in their system!

After visiting several bars that either had no kitchen, or closed their kitchens early, I needed to find some food to chase all of this liquid revelry.

This was pretty much the only place open near my hotel, and thank goodness for that! The cashier was so nice and we even swapped stories about our respective trips to Iceland while my order was being prepared.

The chicken tasted similar to Chik Fil A, just not as well seasoned. However, it was nothing that a few shakes of salt couldn't fix. My order came with fries, which were made to order and also in need of a little salt, but otherwise very good.

If I could do 0 stars I would, horrible Customer Service and nasty establishment. Approached counter to order TWO hours prior to close, they had what looked like 7 chicken tenders Fried. We ordered the meal (6 tenders) and the counter guy told me "to check my eyes" -- nothing else, I responded "are you asking me to check my eyes?" SO rude. His point was they had what looked like 4 tenders left to sell as denial to my order. 2 hours prior to close. PATHETIC. New ownership pls.

Lamb rip and chicken figures are excellent. Good restaurant you can find and south side of the river.

After getting 2 hours of sleep the night before.  And then taking a 10-hour flight to Switzerland.  And then another 2-hour flight from Switzerland.  Not to mention the 1-hour tube ride from the airport, all I wanted to do was get a little bit of sleep before the long day ahead the next day.  We looked at the options around our hotel and it was either cold food from one of the express markets around the hotel or some hot food Chicken Palace.

Since we walked by when we went to our hotel, we knew this place had some burgers and other hot sandwiches.  It even had some pizza.  However, what caught my eye was the Peri Peri Chicken.  Living in California, there isn't a Nando's in sight.  However, I've been to many of them from Washington DC to Canada.  I know there's a bunch in London, but the closest one was about a 20-minute walk.  Not too far, normally, but on this day, that would seem like 3 miles.  We decided to get the quick dinner and we were glad we did.  We got a fish sandwich and also a whole Peri Peri Chicken along with some fries/chips.  The chicken was moist and juicy.  Even the breast meat.  They did brush some sauce on the chicken before warming it up again, but it wouldn't been nice if I had some extra.  We got the mild sauce because of the kids, but I think it wouldn't been even better with something a little more spicy.  Maybe they can give you some on the side.  The fish sandwich was good, but nothing to write home about.  The fries were still warm, but starting to get soggy.  However, I'm the weirdo that actually likes soggy French fries.

The seating area has a few booths, but the place is actually pretty small.  Most people placed their orders for take away (or to-go, as we say in America).  The service is good and they were very helpful.  They are also open later than other places around, so that's a bonus.

So we're only in town for a couple days on Vacation and we have found ourselves in the Chicken Palace again, it is great chicken. But watch out for the Bbq Wings. Best have a glass of milk waiting. Super spicy but really good!

Chicken nuggets were delicious, but chicken sandwich and fish sandwich were a little soggy. The location is decent and not in a too busy neighborhood. Fries were good too.

Great food. We got 2 PCs, wings , a burger and a wrap. Everything was delicious. With Fries and drink it costs 10 pounds

Good place for takeaway food. Doesn't look like much from the outside and inside is cramped and not particularly pleasant, but consistent good quality food at bargain prices. Nice variety, too, including chicken, burgers, wraps, pasta and pizza. When the Italian restaurant on the corner was closed, I went here for takeaway pizza. It was delicious and very reasonably priced! Nice surprise to find good pizza at a chicken restaurant!

Great food at great prices. I have tried a number of items on their menu. None of them have been a disappointment. I recommend the spicy chicken wrap.
