Al Basha is the best Middle Eastern food we have ever had! Our experience from the second we walked in the door at Al Basha was exceptional  Our server,  
Saad was most helpful, navigating us through the menu - Saad's dining suggestions were perfect. Our meal was superb, the service outstanding, the ambiance is inviting. I highly recommend this lovely restaurant

This is great authentic Mediterranean food! Their Hummus Beiruty, Fattoush really excellent. We also enjoyed their Kaftah was also very good. The service is attentive and friendly. Love the relaxed atmosphere and ambiance of this place.  Overall this is a very solid Egyptian restaurant.

Food was delicious. Service was fast.
Mint lemonade was refreshing. We were 4 of us and each ordered a different entree and none of us were disappointed.
Next time when I am in London will definitely stop by.

This restaurant had the most authentic and delicious Mediterranean food for a great price and the amount of food was satisfactory. It is a definite find, as far as flavor, ambiance, and authenticity is concerned. My husband, who is Egyptian, was so impressed that this place reminded him of home. The servers were great! They were very attentive. on our next trip to London we will definitely be stopping by again! Thanks Al Basha for a memorable night!

Egyptian food ey? Ra Ra oh la la! They have their own Gordon Ramses working the kitchen! With many Lebanese and Gulf dishes along with some Indian dishes. Cute Santa and snowmen hanging from the ceiling. A very large fish tank at the back. In terms of background music there seems to be a trend these days to play very slow cover version of pop hits. This was until we told them to play something Egyptian, which they did. 

We made our lunch into a Mid East tapas table. Batata Harara - most importantly not dry. Then there was the spinach pastry, medium thick style pasty, a bit tangy lemon taste. Then a ground chicken pastry with the thin filo type pastry, looks like an Indian Samosa. Should have maybe come with a sauce. The penne dish with ground lamb and bechamel sauce is baked to perfection. Lucky to have found this place as it is one of the few reasonably priced restaurants in the expensive Knightsbridge. Bit slow waiting for the bill, but seems unfair to knock a star for that.

This was a great find on Groupon UK. The food was ample, delicious, and authentic. Six courses of deliciousness! Ask for the chili and garlic sauces.

Great spot for lunch right in the City next to Hyde Park. Went in for lunch and found that they had some good deals on sandwiches and wraps. 

Each item on their lunch menu was priced between €7-10. I opted for the mixed mezza platter w/ lamb and chicken shawarma. 

The plate game w/ hummus, falafel, grape leaves, a cheese roll of some kind, tabouleh salad, fries and the two kinds of shawarma along with a soft drink all for €9.99 which in my mind was a great deal. 

In terms of taste, the food was fresh and tasted really nice. We were also served some bread and sauces to accompany our meal. Would definitely go back for lunch, perhaps for dinner however the dinner prices were steep.

My family and I were refused service clearly because we didn't fit their target demographic. When we arrived, we were advised that they only had four seats as opposed to the six we needed and we shared that we would be accommodating and have our two children sit on our laps. Immediately, another employee (or owner) said "no" to the man who initially greeted us. He came back to us and said that it was too tight for that. When we offered to wait for another larger table - he asked us not to. It was clear at that moment that we weren't welcomed. I was surprised, appalled as I have never had that happen to me before and it does not align with British values. I'm an American and my husband is an elected official in the US. We only support businesses that align with offering respect to all groups. If you are reading this, I highly suggest you stay away from this restaurant as backward values should not persist!
