Great food! Lovely spaghetti vongole. Really generous with portions. 
Came here for a 60th birthday was around 20 of us. Had platters to start. The garlic and cheese bread was fab! Had chargrilled beg platter. And meat selection. Lots of bread! 
Was really delicious. 
Only thing disappointing was the zucchini fritters. They weren't as good as I was excepting, a little salty and a little bitter. 
Lovely place though and great selection!

In London, like most places, it's not very difficult to find a good pizza place, but when I had a native Italian friend recommend this place as the best pizza place in London then I just had to see for myself.

This was the first time that I had ever heard of this chain, let alone eaten here, and considering they had restaurants in areas of London I frequent it seems I was late to the party.

The restaurant is stylish inside and keeping with the Italian theme have decorated the place in the colours of the Italian flag. I love how they just restored the high brick walls and wooden beams and just classed the place up around it. 

Looking at the menu you will see such variety with their pasta and pizza that you would barely be able to try all of them if you came here every day for 2 months....now THAT is choice!

On to the doughy goodness of their pizza. All pizza served here is thin-based, which I prefer as the portions are enormous, unless i'm eating early before a heavy drinking session, on which occasions I prefer a deep pan.

I ordered some bruschetta to start with whilst I waited for my pizza. I ordered the Ciao, which consisted of tomato sauce, mozzarella, chicken, chorizo and cherry tomatoes. The pizza that arrived was the size of one of my car tyre's alloys and was fantastic. It may have been so gargantuan that I couldn't finish it all but it was so good that I still tried. For £8.95 it was also very reasonably priced and the perfect food to soak up all the wine.

I found the staff to be extremely helpful and pleasant, and I loved the fact that the kitchen is near the front of the restaurant so I could watch the chef making the pizza, which was a nice touch.

This is definitely one of the best restaurants in Finsbury Park. It is an Italian restaurant selling a range of Italian style pizzas and pastas. You can sit in and take away.

The food is really delicious and very good value. The pizzas are thin and wide, reaching over the edges of the plate. Indeed, it is amongst the best pizza I have had in England.

It has a family run feel, which gives the place a really fun atmosphere.

is alright, but always manages to leave me a little underwhelmed, so I may not
bother next time. But then someone else gets the pizza and it always looks
delicious.
What is
delicious is their garlic starters, particularly the pesto variety. Their house
red is good for a house wine and their ice cream is rather good, with the bonus
of a lovely Italian waitress pronouncing 'Strachiatelli' Bit
disappointed at the use of the TV screens during recent sporting events mind
you. TVs in a pub are bad enough, a restaurant even worse.

I love the pizza here, which is more than enough for the cost.  

Coming here for birthdays will get you [or your unlucky birthday mate] covered in pizza dough, so be prepared.  

Also be prepared for the sudden jumps in price on the bill when you're there with a large group...we were overcharged nearly 60 quid when a group of about 15 of us went...trying to figure it out and arguing with the staff, we ended up giving up and leaving it.  The food is still gorgeous, though.

I used to live around the corner from La Porchetta. I've never really had issues with my weight, but this excellent little pizzeria might have changed all that had I lived in the area much longer. I'm now not as far north and, although my current local pizzeria is every bit as good in terms of quality, they're just not that friendly. Which is something of a relief to the straining waistbands of my jeans, because it means one has less of an incentive to go.


 I probably don't need to draw you all a detailed picture, because just about every square half-mile of London has one of these. Ingredients are fresh, the dough is light and crisp, the menu has a reasonably standard selection with several more outre offerings for the adventurous - if pizza for dinner could ever be termed adventurous - and you get a big fat bike wheel-sized serving at a very reasonable price. I toyed with 5 stars but have since decided that I'm being far too generous. So 4 it is.

Stroud Green Road is overindulged with good pizza joints. We've got this one and then there's Pappagone's up the road. But they definitely have a slightly different appeal so hopefully they don't step on one another's toes. This little Porchetta was the first to open it's doors with the Upper Street branch following quickly behind. Knowing this I am a little baffled by the temporary sign that is strung up outside but whatever turns you on, it does the job I guess. The menu is what you'd expect. Heavy on pizza and copious amounts of toppings- the pizzas often barley fit on the plates and the bowls of pasta are soothing and often just what the doector ordered. So if you have a thing for pizza, call in her, be prepared to rub shoulders and knock knees with the other customers as you try and get the better of those mammouth pizza. Buon apetite.

One of the best of the little La Porchetta chain, this Italian pizza and pasta place boasts real, sexy Italian waiters with in little aprons who wriggle and weave amongst the tables bearing big, juicy pizzas above their shoulders. If it is your birthday the staff will sing and dance and bring you a slice of cake with a candle on it. The pizzas are ginormous, covered in fresh, chunky vegetables. The music and clatter of cutlery make it a jovial yet cosy family restaurant.

La Porchetta was a lovey restuarant serving fresh, tasty, classic Italian dishes. Not too pricey and with a calming atmosphere! Would recommend for a simple, quick Italian favourite.

A great neighbourhood restaurant serving huge real Italian pizzas. There is a good buzzy atmosphere and you don't have to be too quiet in here so a good place to come with a group of friends. The pasta here is also good. My husband and I would share a pizza and a pasta dish and be stuffed, so very good value. The staff are friendly and helpful. I Don't think there is anywhere to park around there but it's only a short walk from Finsbury Park tube. There are also a few good pubs nearby like the Old Dairy to carry on your evening. I gave it four stars instead of five as it is only pizza and pasta after all.
