Rita’s is a great choice for a Monday or Tuesday night. The service was excellent, and the food was good for the price. Most dishes could use a bit more salt or an extra kick to make them more memorable. The steak was cooked accurately, though the three-pepper sauce felt unnecessary. The fried quail was also enjoyable, though not as iconic as expected. Two out of the three desserts were good and complemented the meal well. Considering the price, intimate atmosphere, and good service, Rita’s is a cute spot for a midweek outing.

The cocktails were genuinely great! The food was delicious. I would say that it is slightly overpriced. The steak was excellent quality, but the tartar could’ve had a bit more flavour, considering it's grilled. Sardines have delicious sauce, but the sardines themselves were not as fresh as you’d expect for that price. A charming place overall perfect for a date night or meeting with girlfriends🙂

Upgraded staples done very well. Tuna crudo was excellent and pork chop cooked to perfection (but mustard sauce was slightly too acidic). Interesting flavour combinations with the quail. Cornbread is a must. Not cheap but that’s to be expected nowadays…

Food here is great - elevated staples (excellent at gluten free as well since one of the waitresses is a celiac) the drinks are a little sweet and some of the portions quite small but over all would defo return! standouts were definitely the small plates and the anchovy martini

Our dinner experience at Rita’s was quite disappointing.

The restaurant itself is charming and well-suited for a date, with its cute interior and prime location in the heart of Soho. However, despite the pleasant ambiance, the food left much to be desired in terms of value for money.

While the flavors were nice, the portion sizes were surprisingly small for the price. We ordered three appetizers, two mains, and three sides, yet we left feeling unsatisfied. For example, the fish main course consisted of a single small fillet, and the lamb was mostly bone and fat.

The drinks were enjoyable, especially the Negroni, and the wine selection was extensive.

The service was also commendable; our food arrived promptly, and our waiter was friendly. We voiced our concerns about the portion sizes throughout the meal and again when we received the bill. After a bit of uncomfortable discussion with the waiter they removed the tuna sashimi from our bill.

It’s a shame that the high prices are not justified by the portion sizes. I believe the restaurant should either lower its prices or increase the portions.

Overall, I would not return, as it seems to be a hit-or-miss experience depending on the current menu offerings.
