Unique experience touring the disused strand (aldwych) station, officially closed in 1994 and finding out about the notable points of its history. The guides were funny, knowledgeable and very nice. I would recommend it to both locals and tourists!!

Urban ruin porn 101. A closed London Underground station with features from Art Deco to the 80s. Partly decorated by film crews over the years shooting London wartime dramas. There's even a smidge of Keith's glitter left from when Prodigy shot Firestarter in the tunnels. Brilliant guides who knows the difference between enthusiasm for their subject and boring visitors' socks off. Not cheap but thoroughly recommended.

If you love abandoned stations on the tube then this is something you will love! I've actually been on this tour in may 2023. Very easy to get to via Holborn and temple stations. Lots of information about aldwych and it was also a great tour around the station. The entrance is on Surrey street (the rectangular entrance at aldwych) and not the strand entrance. We also got to wander around the platforms a little bit. Great experience! Highly recommend!

Fascinating tour.  We had high expectations that were easily beaten.  The guides were really engaging and knowledgeable!  Booking in advance is required.

Excellent tour of the closed Strand/Aldwych station. Used for films and storage of artefacts from the British museum during wartime.
