We ordered the eggs Benedict, eggs Royale, and an English breakfast with gluten-free toast. The food was enjoyable - good quality and flavor, definitely a step above your typical greasy spoon. That said, it didn’t quite stand out as extraordinary or particularly memorable. The service, however, was great. The staff were friendly, attentive; they accommodated a gluten-free intolerance well. They also ensured a quick turnaround for our meal, which we appreciated since we were in a rush. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Well the food was AMAZING and reasonably priced. This place is quite busy and the bar stools are not recommended because you're crammed in like a sardine with servers talking over you.

Do try to make a reservation.

All in all fabulous, but if I had a recommendation, it would be to trust your fellow servers more to do their own quality checks. Several servers come over to ask you if your food is good, one after the other, which can be disruptive. I've worked in a fast paced restaurant with open service like this and you still need to have a system :)

That being said, the servers are LOVELY.

I was recommended to visit victoria house coffee and food by my boyfriend because he used to visit that place often. I think that the service here is a main key of success in this place. All stuff so nice, food was served quickly, the coffee is delicious that a big rare in London. Although a huge queue (we didn't book in advance, and time from 11.00 on Sunday was very busy) I highly recommend this place.

A Brunch Gem Near the British Museum!

Had a truly lovely experience at Victoria  House Coffee & Food near the British History Museum. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by the wonderful owner Sachin and the super friendly staff member Sujata—both were all smiles and incredibly kind.

My phone was running out of battery, and they generously helped me charge it, which I really appreciated. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the food? Absolutely delicious! I had the Full English breakfast and highly recommend it—perfectly cooked and so satisfying.

It’s a popular spot (for good reason), so you might find a bit of a queue, especially during peak hours. If you can, booking in advance is a smart idea.

I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the area. Can’t recommend it enough!

went here for a solo birthday brunch. great service right off the bat, super quick and polite. spanish latte was an 8/10. the american style waffle was good, but would’ve preferred it to be a bit crispier as it fell apart a little. they also brought me a little cake and sang :) thanks for starting my birthday so special!
