The momos here are delicious!! We ordered steamed veg momos, kothey (steamed and then fried) beef momos, and veg curry. I preferred the fried beef momos for the texture and flavor! I liked the steamed momos but thought the veg filling was too soft for my liking. The curry was good but sadly way too spicy for me.

The restaurant had a small seating area and more of a self-service feel. One of us saved our seats, while the other went up to the counter to order. The servers brought out the food item by item as soon as each one was ready. One of the servers kindly asked us if we were done with our meal if they could give our seats to the next people in line. We were more than happy to since the space was small.

I highly recommend House of Momo!!

Found this little gem away from the busy Kingsland High St. and was not disappointed. The staff were nice and patient as I tried to figure out what to order. Especially for the price, the chili noodle (£7.50) and the steamed momo (£6) was quite filling (plus 12.5% charge for dine-in), but it's a bit too greasy and not as spicy as I expected.

It wasn't crowded when I ordered, but the indoor space filled up as I was finishing up. Would definitely come back to try their other options.

Got to know about this place through social media. Very simple and quaint little place. I was in two minds due to the neighbourhood but we finally ended up here. Glad that we reached here early, the place was full by 7:30 pm and lot of people had to leave. We ordered steamed and pan-fried momos, both were amazing, due to the fact that they were momos, not dumplings. They tasted exactly the way it should taste. Then we ordered a chicken chowmein, roti and palak paneer. We loved the food and decided that we have to come again. I loved it because you can just chill with your friends and have good food, if you aren't looking for anything fancy.
