Literally have not had faster service. Shocked at how quickly the food came to the table after ordering! It was such a treat to dine here and try Uyghur food for the first time. I recommend the saucy hand pulled noodles and kebab. The Uyghur version of cucumber salad was also great. Yum.

Yay!  Proper Uyghur food right here in Finsbury Park.   The noodles (拉条子) were spot on, at £9 for a plate.  Very much looking forward to coming back regularly. 

ps. I think this place has come under new management, and the new name is "Uyghur Restaurant".

Great food. Very authentic. My wife is from western China and we love this kind of food. The service seemed a bit overwhelmed when we were there but it was peak hours and they were very kind. Recommended for sure!

Would never go back to eat at this place again. Staff were are racist making rude remarks, as they sold me cold food with hair. I am 5 months pregnant and explained I couldn't eat it and asked politely to change my food. The two owners became abusive swearing at me to get out of their shop and never come back. I was so shocked the male owener even called me a b**** I would never recommend anyone to eat at this place. They also lie about the fact you can't pay on card just so they can pocket more money. When two seconds before that I had just paid on my card that's why they refused to refund me. DO NOT EAT HERE.

Top of Balckstock Road is awash with Turkish boys hanging out, drinking coffee and chatting outside all the food joints, traffic whizzing by, people standing at the bus stop, and on a match day, Arsenal fans drunkedly wheeling their way along the road. Rarely would you want to stop and grab a bite to eat but hidden behind the bus stop on the East side of the road is Dilara. It looks like any old kebab joint. Unappealing a greasy. The flourescent strip lighting at the back makes little of the dire decor at the back but ignore this, persist and be brave. We ordered a mixed meze- all deliciously fresh and creamy (save from the Russian salad ick looking stuff) served with fresh hot flat bread and then falafels with rice and lashings of salad, olives. All too good. And all so affordable. Both sufficiently suffoncified for £12 and sadly plenty left on the plates we just couldn't get through. So, just goes to prove- don't judge a book by it's cover.

Great quality for a great price. We took our American family of 4 (two adults and two teenage boys) here recently. Ordered a stew, 2 split plates of chicken and lamb, and one lamb kebab dinner. One person had chips with theirs, rest had couscous. We had enough delicious leftovers for a 2nd meal and that does not happen in London. Family-owned restaurant (mother, daughter, son and nephew up front). Very helpful answering our questions. Quick service once food was prepped. Delicious fresh salad with cucumber, tomato, olives, spicy pepper and cabbage salad. Fresh bread and yogurt sauces included. Lots of takeaway traffic too. Our dinner for 4 was $35 and we left with 3 takeaway containers. Very clean restaurant up front and toilets. There seemed to be a lot of family pride in their restaurant. On the bus line, easy to reach. It was nice to have a great dinner that was prepared by the owner of the restaurant, served quickly and was generous in its portions.

As a guilty lover of all things greasy spoon, I have probably tried every worker's cafe, chicken burger, and kebab shop within two miles of my home in Stamford Hill. They all have their pluses and minuses, but Dilara's is the most satisfying and the best value for money in the area. Whenever I go elsewhere I always end up comparing it to Dilara's and being a little bit disappointed that I wasn't here instead. For what it's worth, I always eat in, so I have no idea if the takeaway experience is any different.
