Not bad! If you've been to some set meal casual chains in Japan then you'll know what you're getting into here. The food isn't going to BLOW YOUR MIND but given the short supply of decent Japanese food in London, having something like this in the central area is a good quick fix for lunch. 

This is a typical quick katsu curry place. The curry itself is pretty good although I would prefer it to be a bit thicker. I haven't tried the pork yet but the chicken was flavorful, not too battered, and good texture throughout. I also often order omurice which is pretty good but this place doesn't have demiglaze sauce for the dish so that's kind of a bummer (the curry is decent fill-in!)

Service is nice, food comes out quick, and it'll cost under 20£ in most cases. Try it!

Large portion size, great food, on the expensive side

We got the recommended dish with curry, chicken katsu and omelette. Very good, almost enough for two people

Very good place for some Chicken Katsu Curry!

I had a Chicken Katsu curry with extra eggplants and it was tasty and a pretty big portion of good quality chicken for the price.

Service is quick and staff is very friendly and attentive.

Got the omelette with creamy mushroom curry rice again, but this time it was not nearly as good as the first time. There was too much heavy cream - it looks like the entire dish was drowned in it, even though the main flavor is supposed to be curry. Still tasty, but now I'm hesitant to get their creamy dish. May get their regular curry instead.

You must come here. Seriously. It's so good and you leave feeling full and happy. There is almost always a queue as with most popular restaurants in Soho. We waited around 30-40 minutes for seats. They also make you place your order while you wait. But that is also partially because there is not a lot of indoor seating. I got the curry with a fried pork cutlet and vegetable dumplings. You get to customize your curry which I loved. And I am pleasantly surprised by how much I like the dumplings! The curry was so rich and flavorful. Additionally the ratio of rice to curry was just perfect! There is always a huge line here for a good reason!!

It's very authentic curry house from Japan. Quality is superb. Quantity is also good. I'm Asian who had vacation to Europe and my son needs rice. He was super happy and content.

Wholesome simple comfort food! Chicken cutlet with rice at spice level 1 is my favorite. Spice level 2 and above is too hot!

It was a lovely curry experience here. If you are looking for the best japanese curry in london, you should come here!! It was super clean and service was good and even got super spicy curry go for level 5 i dare you!! Nevertheless, no student discount here just a reminder. It is definitely better than "maui poke" guys dont waste your time there and waste your time here. It got so many different selections of curry and this would be recommended to go and coming back. As far as restaurant chains go, this is one of the best. Quality dining at a reasonable price. Atmosphere was pleasant, clean and staff were friendly. We also did not wait long for our meal.

The menu is huge! You have many options to mix and match between protein and vegetables along with customizing your spice level. Portion size is generous.

I had the tofu and okra and added shrimp tempura with a sample of my friends chicken. Everything was delicious. The medium level spice was just the right amount of flavour without crazy heat. Curry sauce was perfect amount.

For those that have eaten in Japan you can probably get better quality but I would say this comes pretty close and is a successful international chain for a reason. I will definitely be back!

Excellent spot for Japanese Curry lovers.

In Japan, this franchise is considered "decently good" but I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this place with a friend of mine.

We've had the cheese katsu Curry and the veggie katsu Curry with extra mushrooms and we were blown away.

Highly recommended.
