Edit: On our first trip to London, my family and I visited this restaurant/pub on a Sunday. Situated just a block away from our stay in Earl's Court, it was convenient. Fortunately, the place wasn't crowded, and we were promptly seated. The staff was attentive, offering us a couple of beer samples before making our choices. They recommended the Sunday special, the roast, which we all decided to try. My son opted for the sirloin roast, my wife chose the pork, and I went with the chicken. The portions were generous, and the food was delicious. The roast alone makes it worth returning. Overall, it was a great experience.

Fish and chips were wonderful and service was great. My husband had a meat pie and his was also quite nice. Outside area was charming .

Uber-popular, convenient location, and a straight-up solid pub.  The food is pub food - simple, filling, easy.  Service is fast and friendly, but they're definitely busy here.  I definitely recommend stopping by here if you're looking for a chill pub with good food.

We are so glad to have found this pub within a few minutes walk from our Marriott Kensington Hotel.  It was our first meal since arriving in London and it couldn't have been any better!

The first and chips are definitely the best I've had anywhere.  The haddock looked like an entire half of fish was used. I loved that the batter did not crumble either; it was very very crispy!  The seasoning on it and the tartar sauce that goes along with it was very flavorful.  It certainly is a big portion, especially if you are hungry!

We also ordered the cheese fries and calamari to share, which are just as amazing!  They do have 2 for 15 cocktails daily from 5-8.  

Overall, we really enjoyed dining here.  The vibes and the entire place felt amazing!

We had dinner here today. Food was good - had beef pie/potatoes and fish/chips. Good selection of beer. The pub overall has a good vibe, just don't be in a hurry. Staff is kind, but not very attentive. Best to come in for a drink, order at the bar, and then take your drinks to an open table. Saw several people do that. Sitting down like a restaurant and waiting for them to come over and serve you, doesn't seem like the norm here.

Chill atmosphere, nice people, and the food ain't bad!
Seriously, there are about a bajillion pubs in this neck of the woods, and they all have a bit of a cookie cutter vibe to them. What you're looking for then is a place that is clean, with nice people, good beers, and oh yeah, food that is more than "didn't get food-poisoning! that's a win!".
What that translates to is that this place is a winner - it's one where you're happy to just swing by and have a beer, or spend a lazy afternoon...

This is one of the better pubs in Earl's court, just a block away from the main Street. King's Head serves Fuller's Beer/Ale line up. Food menus is standard pub food but prepared more nicely. You can order at the counter like all the pubs or they take your order at the table and bring your food and drink to you. Some afternoons they have live music. 
Just remember, the nights that Chelsea is playing, they won't let any customers in unless you are Chelsea fan! But that is ok!
I ordered fish and chips and pints of London Pride, but were delightful. All and all I enjoy my time spent at the King's Head.

Popped in for an easy evening AKA a burger and beer. And both hit the spot. A perfectly cooked burger and man, those chips were damn good too. Good selection of beers and wines. Really happy with an easy breezy, Friday evening at a local spot tucked away in Kensington.

Good fish and chips.  Very good service.  Easy to get a reservation online.  Wanted a local pub experience and that's what we got.  Very much enjoyed it.
