Not bad for a light bite and a couple of drinks. The starters were good sizes for sharing and they had a good variety with gluten free options. Both the men working were very friendly.

My friend said she wished the halloumi on her salad had been heated up but she enjoyed the hummus. The chorizo was good but the 'garlic bread' was just a piece of regular toast with butter...no garlic.

The desserts all sounded really good so might have to go back to try those!

Nice pub but the food is really bad and not for the first time 
We had Sunday roast a couple of weeks ago 
I couldn't even cut the roast potatoes the gravy is just brown water 
I would of complain but my friend wouldn't let me 
And it was expensive for what we got

We visited The Kennington on a weekday lunchtime for some food. The staff were very welcoming and we were waited on at the table. 

The Kennington itself is a traditional British looking pub. Inside, it's very relaxed which enabled us to enjoy a leisurely lunch with good conversation. 

The food wasn't cheap (think restaurant prices rather than pub lunch) but it was very enjoyable. 

I'd happily return here for a Business meeting, lunch with friends or just to relax and unwind.
