Visiting from the States and walked by this unassuming place. It looked packed. I came by a few days later and was the first in for an early dinner. I ordered pretty basic: spaghetti with garlic, olive oil, and chilies; tomatoes with basil; and a red Italian wine. To my mind if you can get a perfectly al dente pasta, fresh tomatoes, and a complementary wine, that's a winning Italian dinner. Bravo

Most of the food was delicious. The Bruschetta was not seasoned well, but the pasta dishes were very flavorful. Our server was not friendly or helpful and didn't bring us appetizer plates even though she did for the other tables around us. I asked for water and she brought us bottled water, again she did not do this to other tables. She never checked on us, dropped a bill which she wrote in her own gratuity and crossed out the line that states service not included. I don't know if this the usual treatment to tourists, but it upset me because I was really looking forward to a nice dinner out with my family. The restaurant is small and quaint, but gets very loud and crowded. I hope the servers there find some joy, because even the other server whom dropped off our food seemed annoyed. I didn't complain because it wasn't worth it and I wanted to end the day with my family on a positive note, but they should treat people better than that. We were gracious and kind & didn't deserve to be treated that way.

This used to be my go to Italian place in the neighborhood. But ithe food quality has slipped badly is badly recently. 
Last night, the spaghetti with garlic chili and oil was tasteless. The sautéed spinach had the dead stringy look of either frozen or over cooked. Again. Tasteless. I asked for olive oil and lemons to add some flavor.  The olive oil' had no character or taste of extra Virgin at all. Like the cheapest greasycooking oil.  This was my last visit to Aglio e Olio. Sad, because the neighborhood is diminished withiut it.

This is by far, my favorite restaurant in London. The manager (I believe he said his name was Teo) provided exceptional service, great recommendations, and by far the best sense of Humor. Amazing food. Will return often!

Food: We stopped in for a quick lunch on a Saturday afternoon and both ordered the fusilli with meatballs which was delicious!  The pasta was cooked perfectly and the meatballs had good flavor to them.
 
Drinks: We ordered a bottle of sparkling water.

Price: The price is reasonable.  For two pasta dishes, one bottle of water and bread (yes, they charge you for bread) for two people, the bill came out to 26.30 GBP.
 
Ambiance: There's nothing special about this place decor wise.  It's a simple restaurant and can get a bit loud.
 
Service: The service was fine.  Everyone was attentive to us.
 
Would I go back?  Yes.  It's one of those restaurants where you know the food will always be consistent every time you go back.

This restaurant has been around for a while, but it continues to offer good quality, decently priced Italian food in a pleasant decor.
Pasta is excellent, and actually all the dishes I have had have been good.
It gets popular with locals and as the restaurant is not very big, you might need to book.

Very pleased indeed by this little discovery. We stumbled upon this place while walked along Fulham Rd looking for some dinner before our movie at Cineworld nearby.


 It's small and simple, and I like that they don't faff around with useless but pretty decor and fancy tableware. The focus is entirely on the super-fresh food. Only bad thing is the acoustics in this place. Boy does it get noisy when the restaurant is full.


 As for food, we opted to share a main order of ginger and coriander mussels (fat, plump and juicy) and penne with tuna in a tomato sauce (perfectly done al dente). Quick and polite service, reasonable prices. Total bill came up to £17, minus service. And you get jelly beans with the bill. Jelly beans? Aww. It's a winner.

Simple, fresh and delicious Italian food, I have never had a meal here I didn't enjoy. The veal milanese is incredibly generous in size and very tasty, and their regularly changing specials means there is always something new to try. A favourite with locals, it's advisable to get here before 7pm if you haven't booked a table.

Avoid this place!

The service is rude and the staff is bordering on being unfriendly. Don't make you feel welcome at all.

The food is okay, nothing to rave about so my money will be spend better at one of the other restaurants around.

They used to be better two years ago but when I returned I was really disappointed to face bad service and sit in a half empty restaurant, which says a lot during Christmas time...

I was attended by the owner and it was the worst service in a restaurant I had in years if not ever!waited 20 minutes for a table I reserved! Waited 20 mins standing in next to the kitchen outlet! Food is decent but definetly overpriced! The restaurant itself looks like a bad 70's throwback! Not to mention that at the moment of paying they just simply looked greedy for the money, cards were snapped out of my friends' hands instead...need to say more?oh yeah, not a "thank you" or "thanks for coming"! I get better service from a Chinese all you can eat buffet
