My husband and I walked here after touring the Tower of London and absolutely feasted. We both got a full, English breakfast, and my husband's came with meat, while mine didn't. The atmosphere was cute, and kind of swanky, as it's a hotel. The prices were pretty reasonable, though, and the food was scrumptious.

Newly open on Baker Street! 

Thank God. Seriously, previous tenant Canteen was such a 'wet blanket' restaurant. Wholly uninspired, bland and boring. I walked past it nearly daily and always thought "blech." I went once and never returned. 

So imagine my utter and complete delight as I returned from maternity leave this week to the hallows of Baker Street (and its myriad of somewhat crappy lunch options) to see a bright, beautiful, gleaming, large Natural Kitchen popped up here! Seriously, I smiled to myself and thought "YES, I am back to work and here is where I will eat!"

And at my first opportunity, I did just this. Lunch with a colleague and I couldn't be any happier. The space is beautiful, a far cry from bleak Canteen. Natural Kitchen has a nice rustic kitchen feel with ample seating in the front sections (we snagged the last 2-top at 1:05pm yesterday, so the word is out) -- and a nice takeaway deli towards the back. 

I've been to the location on Marylebone High Street and really enjoyed it, but even better to have this outpost so close to "home away from home." This location at Baker is infinitely more spacious and inviting and much less chaotic. 

I had the Salmon Teriyaki Salad with beets and quinoa -- it was exceptional. I had the smaller portion and could not finish it, it came with an entire salmon filet. Very well portioned. 

Service was spot on.  

The only downside is it can get a bit pricey, but I have to say the food quality is high and in my opinion, worth it. It wouldn't be a daily lunch spot (unless you have a huge budget for lunch) but once in awhile its great and I'm sure a quick takeaway here and there would be lovely as well. 

I'm sure I'll be conducting many lunch meetings, breakfast meetings and coffee dates here in the future. Very excited to have replaced a boring option with one of great promise. NATURALLY!

One of the best breakfast spots in London. One can order a traditional  English Breky (although I saw no baked beans) or for the more health conscious, an Omega-3 breakfast with eggs, avocado and smoked salmon. Coffee, smoothies and fruit instilled ice-teas are available as well as drinks with a kick. Our family of 6 ate here twice, as there was something for everyone. When I am in this area again, I will definitely come back. Wish we had something like this where we live.

What is it about getting your food in a box that's strangely exciting? Is it that even though you've ordered it and watched the counter staff wrap it up it still feels like you've been given a wee present? 

You've probably guessed by now that in Natural Kitchen they serve you your meal in a box and you've also probably guessed that I'm a fan of this. But, 'what's in the box?' I hear you ask.  Being a creature of habit on 2 visits to Natural Kitchen I had the exact same parcel, I mean meal. I had a box with one main being spicy chicken (Morrocan I believe), a kale side salad and feta salad. This is pretty much their medium offering with small being 1 side salad and large being 3 sides. I found 2 sides filling enough. They also sell smoothies including those weird green ones that my brain can't quite comprehend. 

This Natural Kitchen is at the bottom of a busy office block so as you can imagine it is really busy at lunchtime but I would recommend queuing, as this is a healthy lunch option and think about it you'll even be burning calories while you're waiting! Bonus.

I had high hopes for Natural Kitchen but unfortunately this restaurant falls a bit short. Here are my thoughts:

Ambiance is great. Love the open California feel.

Service is excellent. We had two servers, both were very nice and thoughtful. They went above and beyond.

Food is very disappointing:

-- Crab cakes are rather small for the price and the addition of dill is very strange. I don't recommend these at all.

-- Side of steamed vegetables were mushy and overcooked.

-- Chicken breast contained quite a bit of dark meat but I didn't taste this dish so I can't comment on the overall quality.

-- Child's pasta was fine, sauce was just okay.

Overall I agree with most other reviewers here that the food is overpriced and mediocre for what it is. We won't be returning.

Cute set up- has a nice rustic feel to it. The English breakfast was pretty solid. Fish and chips were pretty average and more on the 'fishier' side. Cute place to have some lunch or chill in the back for a cup of coffee

Great service. The Jack fruit burger was great. Mac and cheese with truffle oil is just like home made. Server was very helpful. I will be back

So when I saw the menu for this place, I thought, hell no, it's 13 quid for a salad, that's ridiculous! However, I went there today with a pal, and I had, ahem, a thirteen pound salad. And it was fricking incredible. Like the best salad I've ever had potentially. Halloumi, crisped parma ham, nuts, rice, good balsamic reduction, tomatoes, and they held off on the avocado for me. Huge, satisfying and just all-round epic. 

The decor here is cool, we ate in and sat in the window. Light and airy, a great place for a friendly or business lunch. Yes it's expensive, but yes it's worth it too.
