We have eaten at this restaurant for breakfast and dinner and at all times service has been fantastic. All staff is very attentive, kind and welcoming as well as accommodating to one's needs. Venito, who served us during our dinner, is extremely kind and superb.

During the morning, breakfast food  selection is fabulous with food quality being very fresh--fruit freshly cut (e.g., grapefruits, oranges, pineapples), among baked goods and meat plus vegetable selections. Mimosas were also available.

As for dinner, the festive meal menu is a great selection of starters, main meal, and dessert options. The butternut squash soup was smooth-flavored. Salmon main course was mustardy-lemony, very tasty on bed of potatoes and broccoli plus green leafs. The Christmas pudding with rum raising ice cream was definitely something to try and be happy about.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was as this meal was included as part of a group tour. I will definitely come back when I return to London and probably stay at the hotel next door.

Just ok... located inside the Royal Horseguards hotel, one would think it would be spectacular... not so much.

Venue is beautiful, as expected. The food is ridiculously expensive and terribly portioned. For the price, it just simply isn't that good... 

...wish I had more to say but frankly, I wouldn't return.

Very poor service in this place. What a disappointment since the food is not bad. The management needs to work on trainibgbthier staff on wine and food knowledge as well as attentiveness to guest needs. We waited over an hour and a half into our meal for tap water. Also, wanted to order a bottle of wine but since we were half way through our meal ended up ordering only 2 glasses. When I mentioned it to the server, Maria, she couldn't care less, never apologized. Just kind of shrugged and brought the 2 glasses. Poor poor service. I would never recommend this place to Anyone looking for a great dining experience. The food and decor were the only bright spots in this horrible experience.

We literally stumbled upon this restaurant while walking around the area after taking in the London Eye.  Located in the Royal Horseguards Hotel, the restaurant was a bit up-scale.  We did feel under-dressed as compared with the rest of the patrons in the place.Food was excellent - my wife said that her club house sandwich was the best she's ever had.  Service was on the slow side considering the fact that the restaurant wasn't very busy.

Don't waste your money here. Very pricey with poor poor poor service. Was underwhelmed with the lack of professional service given their high prices. Small portions with several dishes not  even tasty. Have been here a few times and it certainly was not like this a few years ago. Avoid , avoid , avoid or settle for substandard food and service.

The restaurant is inside the Royal Horseguards hotel, which is a beautiful building. The atmosphere was nice, and the staff were extremely friendly although service was sometimes a little on the slow side.

The food was very well presented, but quite pricey and portions weren't huge. Even with a Groupon offer, the bill came to over £50/head for 3 courses and 1/2 a bottle of wine. I thought it was reasonable value for this, but would have been disappointed had I paid full price.

I booked this as a Mother's Day present and we came here as a family for afternoon tea. I hadn't heard that much about it but I'd heard that it was okay, pretty decent. 
I opted for the signature tea which included a selection of finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, and an assortment of mini desserts and obviously the tea! 
We were seated very quickly and were given a menu to choose our flavour of tea. I opted for the earl grey, my folks opted for the spiced chai and my sister opted for the strawberries and cream - the restaurants signature tea. 
The tea came and was poured for us out of these amazing chintz type silver teapots and strained into our teacups. My earl grey was perfect - not too strong, just the right amount. 
When the food came, we took our time as although it doesn't look a lot, it actually is quite filling! I had stated no beef when I booked the place and the restaurant were very accommodating, serving us chicken sandwiches instead which was good! We also had cream cheese and cucumber and tuna mayo. The scones were delicious and warm! My only complaint would be that they didn't give us enough clotted cream! The little puddings were tasty as well. 
The actual restaurant itself is modern with a traditional twist. The service was very good however they don't have good service on their card machine which resulted in a lot of waving the machine in the air, trying to get a signal! Also it is located between the river and Whitehall so quite a good location! Definitely one to try!

The atmosphere at the restaurant is OK, but it felt like a hotel brunch area (which it is) and therefore did not have the feel that I would expect.

The food was OK, but nothing special and certainly more expensive than it should be for what was delivered.

The highlight of the meal was the dessert, which was an innovative twist on a carrot cake.  

The best part of the experience was that they are on Taste London, so the meal was 50% off.
