This quaint seafood restaurant was a wonderful find! We sat outside during fair weather and enjoyed delicious fresh fish and seafood (oysters, anchovies, sardines, trout) , bread and wine. Our server, Isla, was most friendly and helpful; absolutely adorable!  The dessert we had was to die for( a berry parfait that appeared nothing like a parfait I'd ever seen)! Highly recommend this restaurant!!

In full transparency I found this place after looking up best value restaurants in London and this was on the list. Very happy we decided to come here for dinner. There's seating with blankets outdoors when it's too hot inside. Our friendly waiter promptly seated us.

4/5 Steelhead trout - served with a salty sauce. The fish is already perfectly seasoned so the sauce made it too salty for my liking

Fresh and delicious seafood!  Our server was helpful in answering all our questions. The place is small, but still comfortable. Definitely would come back if ever in London again.

What a nice treat from our English friends!  Seafood was fresh and delicious!  Nice selection of wines for the perfect pairing.  Our server was helpful and made the experience even nicer.  The restaurant was a bit small, but was still comfortable. Would love to visit again the next time we visit.

If you are in the Covent Garden area or looking for a spot for good seafood before or after theatre, look no further than Parsons. The seafood is fresh and delicious. The service is friendly and very good. The atmosphere is very casual but equally nice. The wine list is very good but also reasonably priced. I highly recommend it.

We had the opportunity to have an impromptu meal at Parsons before they were booked with reservations.  We chose Parsons based on previous reviews, and happy that we did.  Service was as expected, and the meal was great.  

The steelhead ceviche was delicious... fresh, with just the right amount of spice.  Also had the lobster (my daughter's request), and thoroughly enjoyed it.  We finished the meal off with the Bergamot Posset.  Again, delicious.  Additionally, the suggested wine pairings were spot on.

One of the best seafood restaurants in London... and the atmosphere is cozy and upbeat. Love the coat rack! We've had several dishes there... several times. All outstanding.

Get the biscuit. That's all I can say. We got one to share and after one bite I was a bit irritated that I had agreed to share. Indoors is very loud due to harsh edges but outdoors is fantastic.

Parsons is a small but charming restaurant on the north-east fringe of Covent Garden, specialising in seafood, which is a bit like saying Lionel Messi specialises in playing football, because the seafood here is absolutely terrific. 

I have been to Parsons half a dozen times now and I have not yet managed to get to the main courses. The fish mains are listed on a little ticket you get with your menu - there will usually be three or four options depending on what the catch of the day is. Whenever I have seen these going out to neighbouring tables, they've looked amazingly good - perfectly cooked pieces of gorgeous fish, served with very simple garnishes and sauces. But, as I say, I can't quite get there yet, because I am greedy for their small plates and starters.

The potted shrimp croquettes are so, so good. There's a lovely devilish heat to them. Recently I tried the salt cod fritters - delicately fried crispy balls of salt cod, served with a smear of something a lot like harissa. These are also great. There's a very nice pissaladiere and even the bread, served with a delicious seaweed butter, is excellent. 

Moving on from snacks to starters, we always order the tuna tartare with its little dabs of bloody mary granita, and usually the seared gem lettuce with prawns and smoked anchovies (this one comes with tempura samphire, a brilliant idea - apparently the chef is Japanese). These are also, and you'll be detecting a recurrent theme here, absolutely banging. Even the sides are fantastic - they have nailed the chips, and the simple green salad has been zhuzhed up with a roasted onion dressing. Everything we've had from this section of the menu has been a joy to eat, including the special I had once of sea bream carpaccio with apple, chilli and elderflower, which was so good I lost the power of speech for about ten minutes. (Sadly it's not shown up on the main menu since. I could eat it three times a day.)

Recently I ventured into the afters section of the menu, which, idiosyncratically, has both sweets and savouries, and by savouries I mean a steak sandwich and a Welsh rarebit. The steak sandwich is a dinky little thing - it's only a fiver - comprising a really good little bun, a generous portion of bavette steak, and some sliced gherkins. In fact, you could very happily lunch on it, were you to add some of those excellent chips, and - go on then - some of those fritters to start. 

Parsons is one of my happy places and long may it prosper.

Oh goodness, what a find. If you're in London and you like good seafood, this is the place for you. It's a small establishment... probably seats about 25 people inside in a tight space and a few tables outside. They have a rotating menu depending on what's available that day and a very good wine selection. We were lucky enough to get seated at the stools facing the open window. This was a great seat as it let us see all the comings and going's of the street. Everything we had was delicious. The best part of the meal was an octopus dish with chorizo and bacon wrapped figs. The sauce in this was so amazing we had to order a couple baskets of bread just to soak it all up. Very glad to have found Parsons.
