The restaurant is located at lovely Venn street and the outdoor space was really nice during spring time! Foods are average good but the portions have become a lot smaller than before! My favorite dishes were probably pork cheek, prawns and pedron pepper. The waiting time wasn't long which was a plus.

Delicious Tapas restaurant on Venn Street. I'd suggest calling ahead to reserve a seat. We arrived around 7PM on a Friday night and grabbed the last 2 of 6 walk in seats at the bar. The space is cozy and great for a casual dinner/bite. 

We started with a white Rioja and margarita, both were excellent. We tried the anchovies dressed in vinegar and olive oil with a few olives; and added the tomato bread topped with iberico ham which was terrific. We also had the mixed tapas which came with ham croquetas, tortilla, chorizo sausage and iberico ham. My favourite of the night was the Pulpo de la gallega (boiled and seared octopus); which was perfectly tender with a light sprinkling of paprika. 

We'll have to save some space for the chocolate churro a next time!

For the owners attitude as there is nothing wrong with the attitudes of servers.

I was told I cannot get my g+t. 
Reason: during such a rush hours the owner doesn't want any cocktails to be served as it takes too much time to prepare. 

Well whole 5 seconds more than purring a glass of Rioja. 

Call an addict but if I can't get a basic aperitif I can't give any place more than *.

OK, so I may be biased as I discovered Barsito when I was invited to a private party here  but then my friends would never have chosen this little gem if it weren't extra special.
The tortilla was easily the best I have ever tasted, and the cold meats which were passed around looked so delicious I almost forgot I don't eat read meats!
Venn Street is one of those little side roads which makes you wish it was your local neighbourhood, and Barsito is a proper heart of the community sort of place. It looks the part, too, with just the right combination of traditionally Spanish and pared back modern  and lovely pieces of art dotted around.
Just waiting for an excuse to return  soon!

Total gem of a place! Lovely staff, beautiful tapas, and gorgeous wine. Small, friendly setting without pretension. Great for a leisurely light meal. I'd recommend going early as I imagine it gets busy based on the size later on in the evening. I made a booking via email ahead of time. Pretty much the best tapas I've had in London aside from Barrafina!
