Early afternoon lunch after flying in to the UK.  Stayed at the Marriott so obviously convenient.

Went with the pastrami sandwich.  The sandwich was ok.  The flavors were good but the prep was a bit inconsistent.  Parts of the sandwich was warm and other parts cold.  The sauerkraut was not strained so that resulted probably in the temperature difference. 

The coleslaw was not to my taste.  It was super heavy on mayonnaise and light on cabbage.  A small bite was all I ate.

The service was also below standard.  I met a friend for lunch that arrived prior to me.  He let the server know that I was on the way that I would place an order as well.  After about 10 months I went to find someone who to help.

After the food arrived, the server was nowhere to be found.  After searching someone at the bar helped me close out.

The service was a struggle and food was ok at best.

Good food and fast service. Full bar. Not too expensive given it's inside the Marriott. Not a big menu but it works.

Landed in London and stayed in Sheraton Heathrow Hotel. Everyone in the group is tired and wanted a quick dinner in the hotel. Restaurant ambiance looks great. 

We ordered a Tomahawk Pork Steak and a Fish and Chips. The pork steak was tender while fish and chips was ordinary. What's interesting with fish and chips is the mashed peas. I've never had it that way in North America. Could use some salt for both dishes which is better than overly salty. 

Overall we're both happy with the food, the service and the ambiance of the restaurant

I had the chicken curry with naan and my husband had fish n chips. We both liked our dishes OK.Service was super slow so I wouldn't eat here if your in a hurry or anything.FYI you get a 20% off if you use Fork to make reservations.

Dinner for 2- midweek. 

Pros: 
The atmosphere was charming and cute 
The food was delicious. Not the best piece of steak I've eaten, but it was quite delicious. 
Reasonably priced bottles of wine 

Cons:
There are 4 cuts of steak on the menu.  When we were presented with our menus we were told 2 of the 4 were not available.  For there too be a supply chain issue with  local steak is unacceptable...at a steak restaurant.  

There was 1/2 hour before presenting our dessert menus and talking our order- at that point we had to leave so we declined dessert. 

* they got one star because of the limited menu and not so attentive service.  I'd say there are plenty of other excellent restaurants to choose instead nearby.  If you're a guest of the hotel on arrival day or your last day, I'd say have a decent meal here; otherwise you can do better elsewhere.

Ordered Squid & chorizo and Tenderstem Broccoli.

First time here. Food is 10/10. Nice flavor, texture, and presentation. The service was horrible! Rog was fussy, dishonest, and in accommodating especially considering they were "out" of just about everything that was requested - lemons (which miraculously appeared for another table), limes, honey, burger buns, etc. My guest requested hot fries and he took the cold ones back, placed them in hot oil, brought them back to her and slammed them on the table and not on a plate. The service is the reason why I will not return.

This was a quick stop after our flight to London from the US.  I had the fish and chips.  It was good, not great.  My wife had the blackened fish, which to our surprise was a fish cake.  That is very different than blackened in the US.  It was good, but not great.

The atmosphere is like any other hotel restaurant.  The service was great.

Open relatively late in a quiet area. Great burger that was cooked pretty well to order. Good fries. The wine we got was just ehhhh. If I'm buying a Cotes du Rhone over 35 pounds, this close to France, it better be good. Overall, it's an a-ok spot for a late bite in a hotel spot.

I order a medium rare steak and this is what I got instead, on their second try!  Unless medium rare means something different in the U.K., but from where I'm from, I expect to see RED meat in the middle, lots of it. 

The waiter and waitress did their best, no complains on the service, maybe the chef is having a bad day? They gave me a Marriott member discount so I thought I'd give it a try. Wouldn't come back again.
