As someone who is gluten and dairy free, getting to eat a carb-laden meal was a treat! My friend wanted to eat Italian, so how rare to be able to accommodate both our needs. What an incredible concept! 

Food and drinks: I was very pleased with the bruschetta (pear and honey lavender was amazing, even workout the cheese) and the vegan cannelloni, which is a lasagna-like dish that replaced meat with lentils and managed to taste creamy and rich without dairy. I was less enthusiastic about the bread assortment (some were good, others a bit dry) and the blue algae coconut latte (which was interesting). 

Ambiance: The restaurant is quaint and cozy. We made reservations, which weren't necessary but no harm. Tip: You do have to take narrow stairs to go to the bathroom so careful! 

Service: Our waiter was attentive, patient, and helpful. He talked me through all the ways to stay dairy free. We didn't feel rushed either. 

This place needs to exist. Full stop. I would absolutely return!

This place is fabulous. Homemade Italian pasta that is gluten-free and delicious. I could order anything I wanted!

I had the ink ravioli stuffed with salmon. My friend had the bolognese. 

Dessert was hazelnut torte.

Not a big place. There were about 20-people when I was there. It was full. It's cozy and clean. The service was professional and friendly.

Had lunch here in 2019, food was incredible!  My non-celiac husband still raves about it. Unfortunately the restaurant is no longer here.

Holy moly--this is gluten free heaven! I have not been to London since I have been strictly gluten free, so this trip required a fair amount of research. (Last time I lived off of fish and chips and beer. RIP my insides.)

Cut to: Leggero. A little hole in the wall of a place, we made a reservation to make sure we were seated easily. This place is wholly gluten free, so having freedom with the menu was killer. I got a bruschetta trio to start and they were each different but equally tasty. For the main course, I shared both the pink ravioli and another pesto pasta with my sister. She is not gluten free, but thought the pasta tasted fresh and not "weird like gluten free stuff" (her words!). My favorite was the pink ravioli, with cheese-- I will be dreaming of those long after my flight home touches down. We devoured the whole thing with a couple glasses of red wine and couldn't have been happier. We ended up raving about the meal for the rest of the trip! Not to mention, we paid about $30/person, which is a great deal for drinks, appetizers, and a meal, especially in the West End. 

Short version, this place is gluten free and tasty for those with allergies and those without. This is a place that is worth the stop--you wont regret it.

An absolutely delicious lovely place! The first night, we came in with a reservation -- and we were glad we did. It seemed like the staff were wary to seat anybody that didn't have a reservation -- even with empty tables. A little weird, but alas. We came for lunch a few days later and had to wait a bit to make sure the 12:30pm reservations didn't show up, and then we were seated. 

The pasta here is SERIOUSLY amazing. Like, I am a gluten free pasta snob -- no longer will a perfunctory store brand do, now that we make it at home and seek out the best ones. This place was impressive. 

The staff are all Italian, and some of the signage indicates that they use a blend of over seven flours to get the texture just right. I believe it. It's excellent. There is red beet pappardelle, black ink linguine for the vongole pasta, and even Nduja ravioli (absolutely to die for, with vanilla seed essence to top off the flavor explosion). 

Our meal was divine and I cannot wait until they bring the brand to the US. If you are celiac, RUN, don't walk to Leggero (and make a reservation!).

Cute interior, the employees were extremely nice and attentive. It's unique how you write your order down instead of them taking it. We ordered the homemade bread selection for the starter, and the pink ravioli. All of it was delicious, we would definitely eat here again.

The only thing is that the seating is awfully close together if you sit along the wall on the bench, so it was hard to squeeze in. Besides that everything was wonderful! Thanks for having us :)

My daughter turned to me and said, "This is the best Italian food I have ever had. Ever." I asked if it was even better than my lasagne, without hesitation she said yes. This is major as nothing has ever been better than mom's lasagne. She had the Nduja Ravioli and loved every bite. 
This place is perfect for those with food allgeries or diet restriction catering to vegetarian to vegan. Everything in the restaurant is 100% gluten free and save for even the most sensenstive gluten allgeries. Perfect for groups or just individuals, this trendy Italian restaurant just off theater row will become a new favorite quickly.

Delicious Italian food, easily some of the best I've had in a long time. But then you realize it's 100% gluten free and well... it's s really gem.
Small restaurant, so reservations are a must.
The trio of bruschettas were so good I'm still thinking of them 2 weeks later.
Handsome staff running up and down the stairs, charmers all.

Incredibly delicious and completely gluten free with all allergens written under each dish! I shared the bruschetta appetizer with 2 other people and had the chestnut pappardelle with truffle oil, mushrooms, and cream sauce to myself. Since I love mushrooms, my pasta was amazing. I highly recommend the bruschetta as well - they put 3 semi-large pieces of toasted bread on a plate. One had mashed peas, one had cheese and pear, and the last was tomato and balsamic. 
I'm not even gluten free, but will absolutely come back to Leggero for a nice yet affordable dinner!

Have been wanting to try this place when in London. Had the duck ravioli and it was absolutely delicious however the portion was on the smaller side...would def go back though! The service was great and so was the food it was  just the portions especially since i only eat once during my 24 hrs stay i need something more consistent...
