Overall a solid neighborhood British pub. It's a great place to grab a pint and a pie. The interior is the classic dark wood and wood floors. Quite a bit of available seating. I would highly suggest making a reservation if you're trying to eat here, especially after working hours and at dinner. The staff is friendly and quick to get everyone served with their favorite frosty beverage. The pies here are a generous portion and absolutely delicious. The other added benefit is the proximity to the tube. You can grab your dinner and get on with your night straight away after your meal. Genuinely make this a stop if you're craving some classic pub food.

Establishment was clean and lots of seating, but didn't love that you had to go up to the bar to order food and drinks. The beer was warm and the selection wasn't great. The redeeming quality of this place was the food. We got nachos (which are hard to mess up), plus the fish and chips and the chicken and mushroom pie. We really enjoyed the entrees -- great flavors and tasted fresh. 
If you are in the area it's worth a visit, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here.

As many pubs it's self service. But not the most friendly staff. Fish was ok though. Nice atmosphere. I'd stop here again if I was walking by.

Food was amazing. We had fish and chips, beef pie, bangers and mash.  It was tasty! The beer was fantastic. The ambience was cozy and inviting. Service excellent. Highly recommend this pub!!

Service was self seated and bar ordered. Staff was friendly and helpful.  Legit bar atmosphere.   Fish and chips was great!

The place was packed because of the football game and we were worried we would not find a table but we did and I'm so happy we did!  This was, by far, been the best fish and chips I had in London!  I 100% recommend it and will definitely be back.  The service was great.  The atmosphere was lively.  And the beer was cold!

Absolutely awful service. We stayed near by and came in for a drink late on a Sunday.  No one let us know the restaurant was closing in 10 minutes, and instead they let us order a drink and sit down before immediately yelling that the place was locking the doors in 10 minutes and we needed to leave. 

Other people walked in after us, they still served them, and then announced a few minutes later they're closing the doors in a few minutes. All customers were so confused why they continued to serve people if they were closing. A women at a near by table asked about it and the women working was so so rude. 

I would never go back here and do not recommend at all. Her service ruined the entire experience and name of the bar.

On our way to Churchhill's War Room and this place was a little further and were tired but what a perfect Pub. Great beers and varied menu including classic dishes you would expect. Professional, friendly and funny staff. Great Vibe!

The atmosphere is fantastic!!! Great music, delicious beer and very cool interior aesthetics!!!

The food here is excellent - especially the pies. But the service is very average and the beer choices are not great. Strangely the beer menu doesn't include their actual selections so you have to ask for clarification. Ambiance is clean but place is somewhat dead and lacks vibe. Not sure I'd come back again.
