I had walked past this place before and thought I should visit someday. Finally, last Sunday for lunch, I got the chance to go.

I loved the high ceilings and the interior design—it created such a great atmosphere. I also received a complimentary cocktail that came with my order, which was a pleasant surprise!

However, there was a small mistake with our order, and a different dish was served instead. But our server quickly handled the situation, assuring us that they would prepare the original dish right away and that we could enjoy the incorrect dish while waiting.

In the end, we got to enjoy both dishes and left feeling completely satisfied. Mistakes can happen anywhere, but how they are handled makes all the difference. I really appreciated how professionally they resolved it.

I’d love to come back for dinner next time!

Brunch Review: My personal favorite brunch in Vancouver. Each dish is so thoughtful in their flavour profile, balance in carbs/protein/fat and also presentation. At the time we went, any brunch dish with an egg came with a complimentary Mimosa! I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he's just such a fantastic human, with obviously impeccable taste in restaurant design, upscale food and culture of staff.

The service is absolutely amazing and the atmosphere is so tastefully modern.

If you go, either come early or book in advance as Archer is always busy (and for good reason)

Parking on the street is easy to find but is also $1 / 10min, so it's best to carpool or Uber if you do go.

Otherwise, I'm definitely going to come back to try their dinner as it seems like a completely different experience, with an ever evolving menu, as per the owner. I can't say enough good things about Archer and I definitely recommend everyone book a reservation as soon as you can!

Archer offers a great brunch menu on the weekend.
We had the beef burger along with the wild mushroom toast. The flavours were well executed and we’d definitely come back to try their other menu items.

I’ve been here four times and each time has consistently been excellent. We’ve always left feeling happier than when we arrived because the food is presented beautifully, tastes fantastic, service is top notch, and the dining room has a lively vibe. I had a wine paring with my set menu today, and it elevated the entire tasting experience. I generally can’t say that fine dining offers good value, but this restaurant is an exception. I can see why this establishment has earned a Michelin recommendation. Definitely worth repeat visits!

Overall, the experience was positive, but it would have been even better if the service matched the quality of the food and setting.
