This was my first time at a jazz bar in Toronto and I loved the live band! If you’re looking for a great dinner and drinks though, this is definitely not your spot. We tried some martinis, signature cocktails, burrata, braised short rib and the gnocchi. The drinks weren’t really good and were served in glasses that were way too big for the cocktail portion. The burrata was actually really good and tasted really fresh- it was flavourful. The rest of the food was really dry and wasn’t served with any sauce so the lack of flavour really stood out. I asked for sauce for my braised beef and it helped a little bit. It was a really nice experience if you’re looking to vibe and get perhaps wine or beer which I saw most couples doing. I’m glad I got to experience this though and would be back for the band! The dessert menu seemed pretty good so I’ll be trying that next time as well!

5 stars for the VIBES & MUSIC & BAND & ATMOSPHERE. Such a beautiful little joint with 2 levels of velvety red interior and perfect moody lighting & all that jazz 🎶 BUT food was ehhh… we got a burrata salad and essentially payed $20 for a just a tiny ball of cheese … and we got the chicken main… a little undercooked for our liking and not enough sides with it… and we got the rigatoni that was essentially underdressed pasta submerged in veal juice that made it way to bloody! BUT GOSH the atmosphere makes u feel like ur in a movie !! Picture end scene of la la land / Sebastian’s jazz bar 🎶🥹 will go again!! But this time just for music & drinks !! 10/10 music experience :) it’s worth the $20 cover, basically a sitting concert!! We sat on the edge of the balcony and could straight down on the band!! So cool !!

We had an amazing time.  The food was amazing and the music was incredible.  We sat on the balcony in front of the stage which was a perfect vantage point for the show.  The $20 cover charge for the band was reaonable and well worth it.  We were not rushed through our meal, which is a nice change when you go out for a dining experience.  I would highly recommend stopping in and enjoying the food and the show.

We had a lovely time! Staff were very attentive and professional. Food was very good too! If you are looking for a Michelin Restaurant this is not one - BUT it is not supposed to be😊— it’s a FUN Jazz bar with a Great Team of staff plus a kind & inclusion atmosphere. And let’s not forget the #1 thing - GREAT Jazz! Can’t wait to book again! See you soon Jazz Bistro 🎷🎼🎶🎵

Came on a Saturday night for the 5-7 Quartet with a reservation. Seemed harder for people who don’t have a reso to get good seats. Been twice and love the music, only wish they would step up their food game and have more interesting dishes. The burger & bread pudding were great! Risotto was alright.
