Nothing like getting to know an artist than by visiting her home. Everything about her home and garden is beautiful. Her art of course is amazing! I loved how the museum captured her unique story from beginning to end.

I recommend purchasing your tickets online to save time! I also appreciated the umbrella service while we waited outside to enter. It did get a bit warm waiting in the sun.

We went on a Wednesday at 11:30 am with tickets purchased directly from the website. I recommend purchasing in advance, they do sell out at certain times. The house is beautiful and the history is in Spanish or English throughout the museum. The courtyard and garden are both beautiful and vibrant. Even if you only know the smallest details about Frida Kahlo this is the perfect place to come see the amazing art she created and how she became the person she was.

Loved the experience. Storytelling is the main line in the museum with explanations and stories about Frida, her family, and Diego, written on boards hanging on the walls. (And I loved it!) Lots of personal things, photos, notebooks, and of course art. There are several rooms with personal belongings and furniture. Big garden is great for chilling. What a resilient being she was! HUGE personality and talent. Buy tickets in advance!

Interesting museum about Frida Kalo life and her art. Gorgeous house with a lush garden where you can have a coffee and a bite to eat at the coffee shop, and purchase some gifts at their shop. We bought tickets in advance, no wait, and organized entrance system. Highly recommended its visit.
