Wow just wow! What a spectacular place! The founder’s vision to create a space where the arts are free and accessible to all is alive and well. Beautiful architecture, lovely gardens, amazing views, and an incredible variety of art and history. We spent all day here and were amazed yet still felt there was more we could see making us hopeful to return again. Entry is free just recommended to reserve a time slot online ahead of time to assure admission, parking is usually $25 at peak hours, tram is free (and fun), and the food court is a bit pricey but has good options. Looking forward to returning again someday to see what rotating exhibits arrive and revisit the beauty.

This museum is exceptional. J. Gettys lifetime collection and more. The grounds are expansive and impressive.  You need several days to take it all in. We did not do a tour, but they are available.  Parking is $25, and a tram takes you to the grounds. Restaurants and coffee shops, a lot of restrooms, beautiful views of the ocean.

We arrived at The Getty Center at 10 AM with the family, ready for a day of art and beauty. The museum is divided into galleries featuring European paintings, sculptures, and photography. Outside, the Central Garden is stunning, filled with roses, lavender, and sycamore trees. The views of Los Angeles are breathtaking. Fun fact: The Getty Center houses one of the world’s finest art collections. A small downside was the crowds, but it didn’t stop us from enjoying a full day exploring the art, architecture, and peaceful gardens. It was a truly inspiring experience!

I had a great time here! The place is stunning, and you can get some really nice views of the city. You can also check out the museum and ask for a tour, or you can just wander around on your own. Oh, and you can register your visit online at the Getty website without cost. The only thing you have to pay for is parking.

A pearl for friends of architecture and art. The location of the museum with a view over the city is fantastic. The gastronomy: excellent and with a very good price/performance ratio.
Admission is free. As usual for L.A., it is easier to reach by car.
