Great location, but parking is outrageous though, only valet is available and it’s $70!

I had high expectations before coming here. Booking experience is great, keep receiving emails from the hotel and concierge for my upcoming stay. Hotel lobby and the whole great building is well designed and looks amazing.

The room on the other hand is average, didn’t really meet my expectation. I mean it’s great for a 3 or 4-star hotel but definitely not for 5-star hotel with a hefty price tag. Also the elevator area looks shabby to me. It seems like majority of the budget went to the lobby and restaurant, rooms and elevator didn’t get much budget.

At night, if you like night life, it’s great, lots of clubs and bars nearby. Many good-looking people, lots of fancy cars in the area.

Beautiful property that smells amazing! The location has wonderful views of LA.

There are a lot of thoughtful pieces in the room like a sand timer in the shower, an option to donate something and they are very doggy friendly - call ahead to let them know you are bringing a pup and they will bring a dog bed and water bowl up to the room

Overall, we had a very nice stay and we will definitely be back. However, there are a few points worth mentioning.

While the hotel itself is beautiful, the staff could benefit from some additional training, particularly those working by the rooftop pool. They seemed more focused on themselves than on the guests, which detracted from the experience. Additionally, our final bill had an unexpected charge of over $100. Although the hotel promptly refunded the amount when I brought it to their attention, this was done without any apology or explanation.

With some improvements in customer service, this hotel would be perfect. We look forward to seeing these changes on our next visit.

As a 5-star hotel, I was pretty disappointed. The room is nice, but the soundproofing is unbearable. The location is good, but they force you to pay $70 for valet parking. The nearest parking lot charges hourly, so you're basically forced into valet parking even if you'd prefer to park yourself. Additionally, there's a hidden $39 per night amenity fee, which wasn't communicated beforehand.

The lounge is nice in the morning but turns into a loud club at night, making it impossible to have a quiet conversation with friends. It's hard to tell if it's a lounge or a club. I'd rate the lounge experience 2/5, although the drinks aren't bad.

Breakfast at 1 Kitchen is mediocre. Even with breakfast credit, I wouldn't visit again. Overall, I'd give the experience 2.5/5, considering the high price. I expected better.
