I had an amazing experience at Swing 46. The staff was friendly, helpful, and they went above and beyond expectations to make sure my night was extraordinary!  The food was exquisitely prepared.  The meal was beautifully plated, visually stunning and the taste, texture and seasoning were devine. Loved everything about this establishment. The ambiance invites you to listen to the musicians  and enjoy a relaxing, fun filled evening of dancing. A place I will surely recommend and will patronize every time I the city❤️.

What can I say. It was my very first time on NYC and I was looking for a good place to have dinner and fun and I sure did. I loved Swing 46 so much. Very good vibes and musicians.
I am not sure if the restroom is wheelchair accessible tho.
Otherwise food and atmosphere was delicious.

Platsen var trevlig, musiken var mycket bra och maten var bra, men servitrisen förstörde vår kväll med dålig Service och ville debitera oss en dyrare menyalternativ som vi inte bad om.

Detta är en fantastisk restaurang / nattklubb på Restaurant Row - v 46 th / street. Bra mat och musik som kommer att lugna din själ som din palett är glad. Middag med ett 16 bitars jazzband. oavsett om det är en turist eller en NYer. Denna plats är ett måste

Maten var hemsk. Smakfri lasagne utan smaksättning och smakade gummiliknande som om den hade varit mikrovågsugn. Såsen det kom simma i var också som att prova vatten.
Salaten övermannades av blåmögelost.
Ostkakan smakade av.
Ölvalen är starkt begränsad och den jag valde var platt och av någon anledning kom garnerad med en bit orange?
Servitören var oförskämd och påverkade vår natt. Han valde att ge sig själv en 18. 5% tips när vi skulle ha gett honom det minsta möjliga om vi hade val.
Bandet var också mycket genomsnittligt och av någon anledning stannade efter en timme för att äta middag (det är vår fredagskväll och vi betalade för att titta och dansa till ett band hela natten).
Mycket tråkigt. Föregående natt gick vi granne med en pianobar och det var en miljon gånger bättre i alla aspekter.
Dessutom ingen WiFi.

Släppte av Swing 46 på ett nyligen besök i New York av en slump, när den närliggande baren vi åkte till stängdes. Det var en tisdag kväll, och musiken började klockan 8: 30, så vi gav den en gång.

Vilken sprängning! Jag var där med min bror, min dotter och hennes vän; vi slog oss snabbt in för en natt med middagar och gungade med George Gee Band. Musiken var fantastisk, och det fanns också en energisk talang på dansgolvet också! Väldigt underhållande. Mitt enda beklagande var att jag var mitt i en förkylning och inte ville smitta någon, så jag böjde mig ur intermittensdanslektionerna, men mina kamrater hade inga skäl att komma ut och klippa en matta! Min dotter håller nu fast vid att ta lektioner med sin pojkvän.

Re: måltiden - Jag skulle bedöma mina rättvisa mot middlin. Jag beställde Prince Edward Island-musslor, som var mer skal än blötdjur (några skal var tomma); min bror åtnjöt sin laxfilet och min dotter hennes kammusslor. I alla fall var vi där för musiken och det roliga, och det lönade sig i spader! Det är definitivt värt ett stopp om du gillar bra live-jazz och dans.

Min fru och jag gick förbi och slutade för att titta på deras meny. Vi gjorde den tidiga prisfixen.
Mycket bra måltid och bra service. Vi var tidigt för att verkligen uppleva allt det här stället har att erbjuda.
Vi kommer tillbaka på kvällen för att ta in livejazz. De har en underbar installation i ryggen för detta.
Endast små klagomål var deras restaurang var ganska varm. Det var dock 90 f utanför, så jag är säker på att detta var en faktor. Totalt sett hade vi bra mat och service.

Maten var ok och tjänsten var inte den vänligaste. Vi anlände till staden på en lördag för en fem natters paus. Vi bestämde oss för att prova Swing 46 eftersom jag ville gå tillbaka i tiden och njuta av jazz och ha en dans i en cool miljö. Från det ögonblick vi anlände började den underbara upplevelsen. Vi fick höra att det var 20 dollar täckningsavgift per person att äta i huvudloungen, vilket vi gjorde som vi ville ha "fullständig kvällsklubb" -upplevelse. Vi anlände till 830 p. Vi valde var och en en signaturcocktail till Swing 46. Utsökt. Vid 9-tiden tillkännagav ett par att de skulle ge Swing-danslektioner och bjöd in oss alla på golvet. Jag är glad att vi ännu inte hade beställt mat eftersom det var så kul att göra. Klockan 930 startade bandet och vi återvände till våra platser och beställde. Under hela natten åt vi, dansade, vi lyssnade på den fantastiska musiken. Maten, musiken, stämningen var fantastisk. Vi stannade till runt midnatt och gick bara för vi blev trötta eftersom vi hade rest den dagen. Jag kommer definitivt tillbaka. Det var en så underbar första natt i staden. Kan inte starkt rekommendera denna plats tillräckligt.

Du kommer hit för att dansa. . . vissa saktar men i huvudsak rock'n roll, i det läge du vill ha det.
Det är levande musik med lite paus men alltid med musik och så dansar varje gång.
Fredag är det ett stort band och så tillbaka till 40-talets och 510-talets typ jazz.
Restaurangen är inte dålig. Klassisk / klubb: crabcakes, srteak, kammussling. . .

Gick för att lyssna på swing-a-delic band. De var bra! Trots att det var en lugn natt satt de fortfarande på en bra show. Jag skulle älska att komma på en kväll när den är packad och se hela energin i rummet.
Det är ett bra ställe för en dagnatt, något annorlunda, och du kan sätta på dina dansskor!

Vi sålde en $ 200 per person nyårsafton med öppen bar, hor d'oeuvres och levande musik och dansa till 2 am. Vi köpte inte också middagen. Sittplatser, om du inte hade middag (och för vissa som gjorde) var eländigt. För att tillgodose ytterligare middagar såg det ut som det bord sattes till dansgolvet vilket blev ganska litet som ett resultat. Bandet var inte särskilt bra - den bästa musiken kom på sina raster när konserverad musik användes. Hor d'oeuvres var hemskt - en liten variation och jag är ganska säker på att de skulle ge dig allt du ville ha men då behöver du fruktansvärt hungriga människor med felaktiga smaklökar. Bandet fick en stor tallrik av dem vid pausen men de var nästan inte ätna. Dryckerna var bra förutom vinet genom glaset - men kan man dricka $ 200 värt per person. Spara tid och pengar. Åh och även om diners fick nyårshattar etc fick vi ingenting.

Vi åkte hit för en privat fest. Det var ok. Mord mysteriet var underhållande men jag trodde var skulle få några ledtrådar för att lösa det snarare än bara ta reda på vem gjorde det men några av karaktärerna var så roliga. Service, jag blev förvånad eftersom dryckerna var med i hur snabbt påfyllnad levererades. När det gäller maten var det ok. Delarna kunde ha varit större. Hanger biff jag gillade men jag är ganska säker på att potatisen var ur en låda. Hade chokladmousse till efterrätt, smakade det och bestämde sig för att passera. Var inte galen på smaken. Badrummen är äckliga. Övergripande mord mysterium var kul men jag tror inte att jag skulle gå tillbaka.

Vi bokade och gick helt öppna sinnade förväntar sig en bra kväll även efter att ha läst några negativa recensioner tyvärr lämnade vi mycket missnöjda. . . . medan vi var där vi fångade bandets svansände och sedan lyssnade på förinspelad musik snarare än levande musik eftersom det var över en timme tills nästa handling kom! Hela anledningen gick vi till musik. . . Jag kommer inte att klaga på $ 15 avgiften att vara i huvudrummet som det verkar en rimlig avgift för levande musik men det var inte någon majoritet av tiden vi var där! . . . . . vi åt av pre fast menyn som var ganska begränsad men huvudmenyn var utpressning. . . . Hela tiden vi var där vi blev inte frågade om vi ville ha mer drycker och vi blev inte frågade om maten var ok. . . min huvud var inte kokta så jag lämnade den mellersta delen och det så uppenbart min mat var inte ok. . . För att vara ärlig så kände vi att vi var ett besvär. . .

Popped in här för en snabb drink som det hade rekommenderats av en vän. Cocktails var hemska skulle inte gå tillbaka.

På en senaste parresa vi föll genom Swing 46 och Supper Club. Under vårt besök lyssnade vi på ett bra jazzband med manlig vokalist. Vi hade cocktails och delade en krabba tårta. Det finns flera områden i restaurangen som inte kräver en täckningsavgift. Vi betalade dock täckningsavgiften för att vara nära bandet och dra nytta av gratis danslektionen som ingår i täckningsavgiften. Vilken rolig natt! ! !

Min man och jag upptäckte den här lilla klubben helt av misstag medan han gick genom Manhattan. Vilken turolycka. Från det ögonblick som vi promenerade genom dörren blev vi gjorda att känna sig väldigt välkomna av Steve och Jonathan. Dryckerna är stora och mycket rimliga priser också. Vi älskade det så mycket vi gjorde en reservation för lördagskväll när de hade ett liveband som spelade. Vi hade en fantastisk natt, mat som var femstjärnigt och dansade natten bort till ett fantastiskt band. De har levande musiker de flesta dagar så skulle definitivt rekommendera dig ta en titt på dig själv. Vi kommer definitivt tillbaka igen nästa gång vi är i NYC.
