Trendiga kvarter café med flera platser runt NYC med denna på 3 rd Avenue mellan Kips Bay och Murray Hill. Vi kom för frukost på en söndag morgon och kunde göra en bokning online för ett bord på trottoaren framför kaféet. Jag beställde Big Breakfast som var välsmakande. Servicen var bra även om restaurangen var mycket upptagen. Det var många utan reservation som väntade på ett bord.

Det serveras med någon sorts aioli-majonnäs och det var bara perfekt. Nästa gång jag kommer tillbaka kommer jag att prova pommes frites.
Grönkål Caesar sallad serverades med äpplen och det var trevligt och uppfriskande.

Jag älskar Ruby's. Jag hade frukost här två gånger och det var inte alls nära där jag bodde, men jag gick dit första gången, från 44: e gatan och 6: e avenyn i Midtown, det tog cirka 25 minuter men jag är en snabb vandrare . Du kan ta den 6 tunnelbanan till 33: e gatan och sedan gå ett par kvarter i ett trevligt område om du inte bor i närheten.
I en stad där det är svårt att få ett ordentligt kaffe, även på så kallade australiska platser som Bluestone Lane (inte det bästa kaffet jag hade i New York) och överallt verkar ha en standardmeny till frukost som har sitt ursprung på 1950-talet, Ruby's är en frisk andedräkt.
För det första är det ett coolt lite utrymme. För det andra är personalen bara härlig, de kunde inte vara till hjälp. För det tredje är kaffet utmärkt, och jag talar Perth eller Melbourne standard utmärkt, och vi är FUSSY om vårt kaffe. Slutligen är menyn rolig, hälsosam och riktigt välbalanserad, maten är fantastisk och den är inte alls dyr.

Gick med min son till Ruby s och hade en trevlig lunch, även om inget särskilt. Jag hade en omöjlig Burger utan brödet. Jag bad dem att sätta det över en sallad istället och de gjorde det. Det var bra. Den på Five Napkin Burger är den bästa jag någonsin haft i staden. Min son hade en frukost skål som han sa var bra men inte mycket fyllning. Sidorna av Brussel Spouts och Sweet Potato Fries var utmärkt. Om du är i grannskapet är det värt ett försök men jag skulle inte göra en speciell resa här. Jag tror att det finns några spridda runt staden. Det är också en mycket liten plats så var beredd att känna din granne.

Vi åt här med våra barn. De älskade hotcakes och maten var bra men tjänsten suger. De kommer inte att erbjuda att fylla ditt kaffe om du inte frågar för att de tar betalt för påfyllnad. Restaurangen var ganska tom och 3 damer var servering men de var alltför upptagen chattar att erbjuda service. Det var också feeezing på grund av ett kallt utdrag kommer från köket. . . borde ha ätit frukost på en matbil med tanke på dålig service.

Anständig service och bra mat. Öl och cocktails serverades fantasifullt, och sedan presenterade maten bra och gjorde en trevlig positiv skillnad för kaféet. Sittplatser utanför var lite bullriga när vi gick, men det är NY Street Theatre för dig!
