This was the best carbonara I have ever had. It was creamy, warm, crunchy bacon, perfection.  We got the garlic bread with cheese to start as well.  Don't sleep on the bread.  We tried a lot of the desserts and they were all excellent as well.  The tiramisu was balanced well, and the lady fingers soaked exactly right.  We ate our main course so fast there wasn't enough time for a photo.  My only negative was wanted to get more refills and had to ask.  But we aren't from NYC so probably just needed to ask directly.

Upon entering, we were greeted by the entire staff in a very natural and welcoming way. Angela was our server and her service was amazing. She was so patient and kind to us, with lots of knowledge of the menu. The food was delicious, from the appetizers to the dessert. The penne allá vodka is to die for as well as the Lambrusco which is the best wine I’ve ever tasted. My friends and I look forward to coming back, especially to see Angela.

Extremely good authentic Italian food, one of the best Italian meals we've had in nyc. Portions are very generous and exceptional value for money. (Lasagne & Braised beef short rib)

Happened upon this place, and got seated right away. Staff was friendly and we ordered the meatball for an appetizer...it was so tender and delicious. I had the stuff chicken toscano and was so pleasantly surprised how wonderful I loved the chicken which had mozzarella, ricotta and spinach. It was delightful and has now become my favorite Italian dish. My husband had the homemade tagliatelle carbonara and he is not a pea person. Over all this was a home run for just stopping by for a quick dinner.  Get the chicken toscano!!!!
