Got stuck in room 101 even though when we made our reservation there wasn’t a single room booked. Floor is pulling up, shower pressure is barely noticeable. We have stayed here before and it was a lot better years ago. All we heard all day was people coming and going, people working in the office area, doors closing first thing in the morning. Except better - would not have a door or access like this right outside a room not ideal for relaxation or quiet.

Stayed for 1 night in room 101 and had a great stay!

Was a little noisy but didn’t bother us the slightest, the hotel is very cute and boutique’ey - very well done!

Biggest critique was no water in the room, which is easy enough to fix.

Overall a great stay - especially if you have dogs.  We’d stay there again!

I’ve stayed at Anvil twice now. It’s a passable hotel. It’s clean… that’s about all the good parts. We have an ESA animal and both times I’ve stayed here I have provided proof. They promise not to charge me for it and then the bill at the end comes and what do you know. We are charged for having a pet. Not professional as an establishment. This is the last time we stay with them.

I can’t boast about this darling hotel enough to do it justice. I seek out hotels that embody the charm of place and the Anvil checks every box. The crew that runs this place has to be some of the nicest folks on earth. But a special shout-out to Cortney and Emma whom made our stay exceptional from the minute we walked into the lobby. We will without a doubt be back!

I'm going to give this 5 stars, since I was upgraded from Cache House, which was closed for refurbishment. Doesn't seem fair to put my review in Cache House, since I stayed in Anvil; and doesn't seem to knock off stars for the hotel, when I was paying Cache House prices. But anyway...

Good points:
- common area is very beautiful, nicely decorated
- common area open 24 hours 🙌
- staff were fine with my eating my own food in common area
- staff super friendly
- had my own room; didn't have to worry about being woken up by other people, having to fight over the A/C temperature etc 😅
- good location, very central to Jackson central area, just a few minutes walk from the center
- half an hour walk or so from Snow King Mountain
- I had a nice fridge in the room
- very quiet (I mean, I wear ear-plugs anyway, from force of habit; I can no longer sleep without them 😅 But I never heard anything when I wasn't wearing them)

Bad points:
- no bike, even though booking.com presentation promised me one
- I'd like a self service microwave please ideally :) There is a microwave, but have to ask the staff to use it, which limits its usefulness, for anything mildly complicated
- water in showers wasn't piping hot, and I do like piping hot showers :)
