Very pretty, lovely views, especially at sunset.

I'd really recommend going out of your way to see this place.

Watch out for the monkeys, I saw quite a few things stolen by them when I was there!

Got here early (8am) and very few people inside was absolutely stunning setting and walked round for a few hours!
Would recommend- they also do fire dances which unfortunately we missed.
Be careful of glasses/bags with monkeys

Nice temple, but main sections are closed for the tourists. Temple is located on the cliff. If you like monkeys you can go, but be aware of their sleigh in hand skills.

We toured the Uluwatu temple before seeing the Kecak fire dance. The temple has some absolutely beautiful views but it was very busy with tourists. Be careful with your belongings as we saw monkeys steal hats and sunglasses right off of people's heads!!!

I recommend visiting this place accompanied by a local guide. Allow a few hours for this tour. Enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean and the cliff. Here you will meet monkeys. Take care of glasses, phones and do not bring food. Follow the instructions for entry, regarding clothing and religious items. We were a little before noon and it was very hot, maybe it's better to go earlier in the morning or in the evening. From 6 pm in the afternoon you can watch the famous Kecak dance here.
