WOW! This bakery is delicious! It is also a place for brunch! It is perfect to start your morning here. I came here twice with my girlfriend and we are really happy with the quality of the food! The pastries here are also amazing and they were fresh! The bread is fresh too. Over all this place is an ideal place to start your morning in Copenhagen. It is very worth it. I highly recommend Rug Bakery!

Lovely place for a fancy brunch/breakfast! We visited twice and both times were super happy with the food and service.
The interior is super nice and there is a lot of space with many tables.
Wide selection of fresh pastry and drinks. We waited for the food at least 20 mins but it was Sunday noon and quite busy. Everything was delicious. Would highly recommend for a brunch date! And will come again.

I honestly have no idea how this place got such a high ranking. We ordered 4 sandwiches + 4 hot chocolates, it was 130€. It’s just ridiculous. But the main issue is that the sandwiches were over salted! It was impossible to eat. Frankly terrible. Mine was with mushrooms. I ate half of it and left the rest. My family members had their over salted too. Not recommended at all. Not eatable.

Loved this bakery. We went there for a rich breakfast and we were not disappointed.
The location is fancy and embedded in the Villa Hotel.
The food is fresh, and the selection is large: both sweet and savory.
The staff is kind and fast.
This is a quality over quantity type of place.
The price is in line with Copenhagen standards (which means, if you visit from the rest of Europe,  expensive).
It was worth a visit,  my favorite breakfast!

Absolutely delicious bakery and amazing ambiance! Chicken sandwich not pictured but was incredibly delicious as well. We even came back in the evening for supper and loved it.
