Delicious! We were pleasantly surprised by how tasty the food was. Also, we really liked the owner and how clean the restaurant was.

One of the best Indian restaurants outside India! Food was delicious and service excellent. Thanks Khaled! I ordered dal, aloo saag and butter naans. All were excellent! Do mention spicy if want it that way :). Also, don't go for the appearances, it is a small restaurant in one of the side lanes off Rue Saint Dominique, but if you are looking for outstanding Indian food to quench your craving, then this is the place to come to!

Awesome food. I didn't expect to find this from an Indian restaurant in Paris. We had the chicken tikka, palak paneer and chicken biryani- all really good. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Zero stars. Google had the timings as
"opens at 6:30 PM" and we went in at
6:30 PM. 2 guys seated us and gave us the menu. Any normal person would think that they would take the order.
After waiting for 20 mins, confused and hungry I checked if they can take my order. One guy, who can barely even speak in English tells us that they'll take the order only after 7:00 PM. Ridiculous. We asked him then why did he even seat us if they are not ready till 7:00 PM?
Another, an older guy walks in and says
"This is Paris and not your India". WTF. I am an Indian living in California and had never seen any Indian or in fact any other normal person saying this to a customer. And let me add something here: Your menu doesn't have even 3 curries in there. How in first place do u even call it an "INDIAN RESTAURANT"? AGAIN: ZERO STARS. Free advice for the rude old guy: You will remain a waiter for the rest of ur life.

Simply delicious Indian food. Subtle creamy fabulous. Everyone loved it - even the teens. The rice alone was exquisite.  
Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Curry, creamy spinach and potatoes, amazing Biryani, and spicy chicken curry - it was all amazing.
And they spoke easy English even tho this is not a tourist place. Cause they are Indian! 
The prices were less, and the food was better, than many other places. Enjoy this place!

Enjoyed lunch here while in Paris. Very clean and cozy. The rice with peas was fabulous! Garlic naan and rice were large enough to share for two. Chicken tikka and chicken madras were nice. Spice level was low.

AMAZING food! Can"t remember the exact prices, but comparable to a dinner for two in the West coast USA. My partner and I literally devoured that meal, it was so yummy. I recommend the garlic naan bread, chicken tikki masala, veggie curry? (Had potatoes and cauliflower), and the rice.

Chez Raja has a good set of recommendations but I cannot suggest strongly enough to stay away. There are so many excellent Indian (and even Punjabi) restaurants in Paris; it is not worthwhile going here. The food is not terrible but certainly not anywhere close to the best in the city. More than this, though, the service was incredibly poor. When we arrived there were only a couple of other tables full and they seated us, a party of five, at a fine table for six. When we were ready to order, one of our party had already eaten and only wanted a drink and another only wanted an appetizer. Two of us wanted to share rice with our tandoori but the waiter interrupted us and said that "the types of orders we were giving were not right for their restaurant" and that we had to pay a minimum of 15€ per person to eat there. This coupled with the unsavory attitude in which he said it was quite unpleasant. He also said that the restaurant was really popular and they had given us a six person table (the only table in the restaurant that would hold our group) so we had to order more. 

One of our group got a beer that was not the one she had ordered that was not good and when the rice came it was in a shared platter anyway. 

The food as I said was average and not terrible but the atmosphere and customer service is so unappealing that it is NOT worth going.

Food was decent and would have given the restaurant 3 stars, however the service and server tonight brought it down to 1 star for us.
