It's pretty rare that I reviewed a chain type place but the service here was 10/10! If you are not local think of illy as your local Starbucks type coffee shop but definitely better! I'm a frequently flyer at illy when I travel to Europe but I really appreciated the baristas taking the time to literally explain almost all the coffee types and menu to my friend. The coffee was great per usual!

Happy to come across Illy Cafe in Paris right next to Big Bus tour stop.

Good selection of savory foccacia sandwiches although some of the greens had browned leaves. 

This place can get busy in the ordering line, but we enjoyed the relatively abundant seating in the back - a great place to relax and take a break.

WOW, pastries and sandwich was amazingly delicious.  Recommend a visit.  This location is located right next to the Big Bus tour hub which was great for us since we were waiting for the Blue Line bus to arrive but wanted to grab some food while we waited and escape the cold.  You walk in and order at the counter and they'll warm your sandwich if you order one then call you  to pick up your items from the counter.  I had the Nutella stuffed croissant which was so soft and fresh and filled with Nutella!!  This was one of the highlight foods of my trip to Paris actually.  My daughter ordered the ham and cheese sandwich which was very good...the bread was so soft and warm.  They have seating available and come around to clear the tables when customers are done dining. They have restrooms available downstairs for paying customers as well.  Staff is very friendly and spoke English which was also a plus.
