Our first breakfast here. I would say it was a pleasant breakfast, good service and the omelette was delicious. Wasn't a fan of my otherwise fave cafe viennoise, but I can't complain about anything. If you're in a time crunch this is a cute little place to grab a french breakfast.

The interior was fantastic and the ambiance was so nice. They did a really fantastic job accommodating a large group without reservations, so I want to applaud them for that and their patience. Thank you. 
I got the 3 cheese fromage along with two others in my group. IT HAD AN EGG IN IT. So imagine you're getting like an Alfredo and just see an egg sitting on top. Huge surprise, but hey I figured I'd try it you know? It was very interesting - one person in my group didn't like it at all, another thought it was just strange and ate half, and I thought it was good.
Waters were always filled, and the bread was always full.

Stopped in on a rainy night for dinner.  I had a very nice steak dinner.  Service was fine.  Spent the entire dinner looking out the window and watching two young women chain smoking at their outdoor dinner table.  Don't sit outdoors for dinner in Paris unless you don't mind having the diners at the next table smoking.  

This must be either an old restaurant, or an authentic one, because despite being across the street from Gard du Nord, the men's room features a squat porcelain toilet.  

The best part about this restaurant was the fantastic Chicago blues music being played while you dine.

On our first day in Paris, we discovered this great cafe amongst the many in the area. It is in a convenient location to Gare du Nord station and has super friendly service. Menu available in English. Reasonable prix-fixe breakfast menu at 6 euros comes with a a glass of orange juice, croissant or toast and a warm drink (coffee, tea or hot chocolate). There's a wide variety of options for lunch and dinner, along with daily specials. We enjoyed the friendly service and food so much at breakfast, we went back for dinner on the same day.

We stopped here for an early lunch before catching a train to Amsterdam. The food came quickly and it was cheap. You truly get what you pay for in Paris. I ordered an omelette and a croissant. My wife ordered the breakfast special, coffee, OJ & croissant. The omelette was watery and the side salad had some roamine, a couple of quartered tomatoes and a trace of dressing. They only has one croissant so my wife and I had to share; it was the highlight of the food. I am not sure what else is available in this area, but this place was disappointing for breakfast food?

I love this place! The service is great. Everyone working there was very nice. My brother and I shared a Caesar salad and the croque monsieur and both were delicious. The chicken on the salad was so flavorful and the dressing was awesome.. I wish I could bottle it to take home! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. This was our first meal on this trip to Paris and we were thoroughly impressed

We needed to find a decent place for breakfast during our two night stay in Paris. Found this restaurant around the corner from the hotel and what a find it was. Really friendly service, especially on the second morning. Suddenly we had become friends, not that the service on the first day was any different. Nice choices of their three breakfasts. The omelettes are to die for. Cheese ones with that wonderful runny cheese, or full of ham. Fantastic place. Check it out.

I would never return to this restaurant. The food was ok but the service was not. I ordered water and was expecting to pay 4.50 euros for it, which is quite expensive already. When the bill came, they charged me 5 euros for water "because I got the large water". The menu only listed one size of water for 4.50 euros, but I somehow, sitting alone, got the large bottle. I looked around, and a lady who seemed like a local was given the "small" water. It seems to me like they are trying to take advantage of tourists and up charges them for little things. When I approached the waiter about the cost difference and the cost listed on the menu he raised his voice at me in French (which I don't speak) in front of the whole restaurant. He eventually stormed off without charging my card. I sat around for 15 min looking around for him so I could pay and leave. I gave up and payed the extra 50 cents because I needed to catch a flight and it wasn't worth arguing. I just want to caution others from giving this restaurant business. Never the less, I would not recommend this restaurant unless you are ready to be treated rudely.

This spot is in a perfect location and has amazing food, drink and atmosphere!  We almost gave up on French cuisine,  but boyan was an amazing host and the atmosphere was fantastic!

Good vibe but awful quality. They were out of the duck they recommended and destroyed an already questionable cut of steak. It was downright leathery. And the price and service left something to be desired.
