There are many sand in the clam.
It's insane.
I was hungry but I just took 2 bites and just left.

Stumbled upon this restaurant, which is off the traditional beaten path of Paris. We walked in at 6:30 and were the only ones here, but were seated right away. The restaurant itself is beautiful, very intimate, and service was good. 

Food came out quickly, and was decent, but nothing spectacular, and the portions were very small. My clam linguine (21€) was undercooked and undersauced, and my boyfriends's truffle ravioli only came with 6 pieces (for 25€!) and the taste was masked by the goat cheese. 

Not a good deal price wise, but the atmosphere was great.

We've eaten here twice, once on our honeymoon and then recently on our 10 year anniversary trip.  The first time was good enough to make us come back.  They have a big Italian wine list.  The food is good, the interior cozy, and in a classic Parisian neighborhood.  They have an easy to navigate online reservation system.

The downer was that the service was almost too quick - we had barely settled in and they were ready to take our order.  Maybe they expected us to want to rush because we were Americans...but it would have been nice to put in a drink order, get that served, and then take the food and wine order.  Also, they did not acknowledge our anniversary...we always let people know that we chose their restaurant to celebrate.  Not to get anything for free, just to get a nice anniversary wish.

My wife Donna and I we're flying through Paris on our way from Oslo to Los Angeles, Paris has always been one of our favorite places...so after five straight lovely Norwegian butt freezing off days and nights, we decided to keep dinner simple (read relaxed) but my relaxed isn't in sync with Donna's version...with that said, Donna wasn't going to be too excited about hip chain food, no matter who's attached (local or otherwise) So we did some quick research and found L'Enoteca (25 Rue Charles V) 
AND simply put: It was an amazing, lovely vibe, it's simple and clean design, decor and patina'd walls were all full of heart and soul. Great, caring and likable people in Maria and Terry, excellent service, class A wines and the food was remarkable...great textures, great flavors and the very best ricotta ravioli I have ever tasted. 

We have an impossible to get reservation for Paris' most happening nuvo restaurant for tomorrow night...and I'm trying to figure out a way for Donna to say "yes...we can go back to L'Enoteca instead" blowing off the big resv!

If you like great Italian food, served with French passion and verve by people who are stone cold pros that really know what they're doing...then do yourselves a favor and get a reservation (or follow our path of showing up as they open the doors @ 7:30...being nice people, by the time they realize you don't have a reservation, it's too late, you're sitting, with a drink in your hand and they'll feed you.

What are you waiting for? I thought you liked GREAT FOOD...GO, NOW!

Cute, quaint, quiet restaurant a bit out of the way in the Marais.  More French than Italian, but very good fare nonetheless.  Worth the walk to get away from the more bussling areas.  Interesting wine list.

Make sure to get a reservation since it quickly fills up.

Great Italian restaurant in a lovely location the decor and the architecture are amazing with a very cozy feeling a top notch service very cool restaurant with home made fresh pastas and an amazing wine list

Good food, slow service. Great wine selections. Nice Italian restaurant in Paris. Would return if I had 2+ hours to waste for dinner. Calamari is excellent.

This was the first place I ate in Paris. 

It won't blow you away, so don't expect some awesome dinner. BUT what I like about this place is that it's way casual and a great place to come here with a friend to enjoy a simple dinner and have a fun conversation. Nothing serious, it can't always be a serious dinning experience and that's a-ok. This place is perfect for that. 

The price is right for this place. Not bad, but I won't be stopping here again when I return. If you're staying at the hotel down the street this place will work fine.

Enjoyed a great bottle of moscato d'asti but the wine list is extensive. I also loved the gnocchi with wild mushrooms, very delicious. As the previous person it is best to get a reservation but if you dont go too late or have too big of a party you should get in.

I thought L'Enoteca was a great find.  Location is central, in Le Marais, and we sat upstairs in a smaller dining room.  The place filled up for dinner, and for good reason!  The server worked his tail off & was friendly enough, and the food was good - beet risotto for me, and roasted fish & veggies for the mister.  Wine was great, also.  I'll go back!
