My wife, friends, and I recently visited, and the first thing that caught our attention was the charming atmosphere. The open layout was both cute and aesthetically pleasing, making it a great spot to hang out.

We ordered the mushroom pizza, cacio e pepe, ricotta pancakes, and the eggplant dip with pita. The eggplant dip was the standout dish—absolutely delicious! The mushroom pizza was decent, though a bit too lemony for our taste. The cacio e pepe, unfortunately, was overly salty, while the ricotta pancakes were spot-on and a definite highlight.

As for the service, it wasn’t the best, likely because the restaurant seemed quite busy. Some notable issues included unlit candles, no fresh plates, a delay in providing pepper when requested, no follow-up to order cocktails, and an overall lack of check-ins. On a positive note, they were kind enough to bring out a mango ice cream dessert for my wife’s birthday, which was a thoughtful touch.

Overall, while the vibes were fantastic, the food and service didn’t quite meet expectations.

I heard a lot about this restaurant since coming to LA, I tried and it’s not a place I back again. It’s overrated.

Very beautiful view especially near sunset time, good drinks  however food is so so, don’t like taste, not a rich taste. It’s very noisy, the tables are super close to each other, service was poor  and waiters were not professional or appropriate trained for this restaurant.
It took mire than 20 minutes to have our food.

If you are looking for nice restaurant with chill vibe and delicious food, here is not your place

Had a booking for large group (12 people) on a Thursday in summertime. Arrived right on time 630pm, the entrance is unusual. You have to show your ID to a door person and receptionist, then you wait. Then you take an elevator upstairs, where you again check in with a receptionist. Our table wasn’t ready so 12 people were all crowding at the bar to order a la cartridge drinks while we wait. I felt bad for the people seated around the bar area eating at high table as we were all in their space.
When seated after 15 mins we had a nice view on the balcony. We ordered appetizers for the table and then each person could order their main, the servers were accommodating to this. We also ordered red and white bottles of wine for the table. Generally the appetizers were wonderful. You cannot go past the eggplant whipped dip and the accompanying bread. It’s an experience! The mains were hit and miss. I personally had the mushroom polenta and it had a raw runny egg in the middle (which I didn’t really understand from the menu) and I couldn’t finish it, the texture and flavor were not mixing. Others ordered chicken, squid ink pasta, fish and the report from most people was it was okay. For the location it was a great spot, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. But the check in process and the few misses on the mains for the price, I didn’t love it. For just drinks and appetizers with a view would recommend.

Delicious food and drinks in a beautiful spot with great views. Loved the gem lettuce salad, the whipped eggplant, the vocdka sauce pasta and the truffle pasta. The tequila/mezcal cocktails are delicious! Service was decent, considering how packed it was for a mid afternoon on a Wednesday! Will definitely be back.

Really good food. Reservation highly suggested. Went for breakfast and the whole menu was open for ordering. Ending up getting the breakfast sandwich which was good but really just a nicer version of an ordinary breakfast sandwich. Had a taste of the polenta and that was nice too — different. I can’t forget the whipped eggplant — delicious! And with the bread is so good! Coffee tasted well. Lastly, our server Tony was very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. We appreciated his service. This place is one part hype and another part really good at what it does.
