Sakura is an absolute gem when it comes to Japanese cuisine in Bali. I would recommend this spot, especially if you have the all-inclusive package, as it can be a bit pricey otherwise. But for those with the package, it’s an experience not to be missed, especially if you love authentic Japanese dishes.

I thoroughly enjoyed the sashimi and ramen. The ramen, with just the right hint of spice, was delightful and added a lovely kick to the meal. The signature Yuzu cocktail was probably the best cocktail in the entire resort. It was refreshing, flavorful, and absolutely perfect to complement the meal.

The service was impeccable. My server was incredibly kind and attentive, and the food arrived quickly, which made the entire experience that much more enjoyable. The decor and ambiance truly give off an authentic Japanese vibe, making you feel like you’ve been transported straight to Japan.

For those on the all-inclusive package, this is a must-try dining experience that is sure to impress.

During our visit to Shakura Japanese Restaurant at Melia Bali, we were warmly greeted by our waitress, Mitha Lily Ayu. The welcoming demeanor and excellent menu explanations set the tone for a delightful dining experience.

We started with the spicy prawn tempura and salmon roll, both of which were of amazing quality and absolutely delicious. For our main courses, we had the sirloin and black cod. Each dish was prepared to perfection, showcasing the restaurant's dedication to high-quality ingredients and exquisite flavors.

Overall, our dining experience at Shakura Japanese Restaurant was exceptional, thanks in large part to the attentive and knowledgeable service from Mitha Lily Ayu. We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy top-notch Japanese cuisine in Bali.

Out and out 10/10 experience! Absolutely can't praise this resturant enough. The service was super friendly and very efficient. Our server Intan was amazing 👏.  The food was all delicious from the appetisers to the mains and too the desserts. Stand out was the Gyoza, sashmi/sushi platter. We had all inclusive package so it was al included including Japanese beer and cocktails. Probably the best food we have had in the resort. A must visit on your stay. Shout out to our other servers Mitha, Edy and Suci. They all made the experience even better.

Up there with the best Japanese we’ve ever had! The sashimi was so incredibly fresh, the dumplings came with a miso sauce to die for and the Angus beef was exceptional. Mitha, Lily and Ayu were all so friendly! We sat by the bar and our daughter loved watching the sushi being made. She ate 3 plates!

Visited this restaurant 3 times during our week long visit. Angus Beef Tobanyaki was consistently top class. Chicken Terriyaki was equally special. Unequal service including by Mia, Gita, Mitha, Frida and Tutnik and many others. Let's not forget the chefs and bar staff working expertly and efficiently back of house. Great cocktail in the gin served in the small coupe glass. Suntory whisky always pleasing. All of this and more thanks to the All Inclusive package. Great team work, Sakura. Thank you!
