There are many vegan restaurants in this Jongno district and this place is definitely worth a mention.

According to the owner, the name (소이로움) means both “So-iroum (beneficial/good)” and “Soy-roum (being)”.

So good.

As its pretty and meaningful name, the dishes were soooooo delicious and 100% plant based.

Totally recommend!

Ordered the Vegan Hamburg steak plate, which was demolished! The Grain patty Burger was tasty and a good size. I was gutted that the Soy Platter was sold out, it looked delicious :( The Greentea & Red bean cake was gluten free and vegan and the flavour was unique in a very positive way, would have again. Had to have a Matcha latte to complete the menu. Highly recommended 👌

Absolutely delicious! The employees spoke perfect English (always helpful for foreigners) and the food was so rich and creamy. I got a lemon iced tea which was sweet and refreshing, the spinach cream pasta which was very rich, salty and creamy - great for my European taste buds! I love salty food and she even gave me a freebie to try which was also delicious! Shame they didn't have more cakes as I would have bought them!
