This Temple is located along the Ratchadamneon Blvd, aka the Royal Route. It was built according to Rama III orders in honor of his granddaughter.
The Temple is little bit out of the main tourist area, in vicinity of the Democracy monument roundabout. Therefore it's pretty overlooked and underrated.
It's square in design with eye catching 37 spires. It serves as both, Temple and monastery

Special temple by its architectural concept. You have stairs in spiral leading you to the top and you can stop at every level.
Finally, you will enjoy a 360 degrees view over Bangkok.

If you are already visiting this Wat, walk a little more and go to the Golden Mount....Some more stairs to climb...
