One of the European style palaces That are still open to the public but only on Saturday and Sundays. Very interesting architecture and history. You have to join a Thai language tour which is included in the entrance price (60 baht up to pension age and 30 baht for oldies) but you can break away shortly after the start 😃.

Beautiful building and place. There are guided tours here. But you can come during the castle's opening hours and walk around independently the house and grounds. It's a very beautiful and unusual place for Asia.

"Beautiful and Romantic Palace"
There are 2-3 rounds (9:30, 13:30 and maybe possibly additional round) of guided walk-around. Recommend to attend it as you can go to other floors which are not generally opened to all. The guides are trained graduates from Royal school and they are very keen in speaking English. Fee is very affordable at THB 60 for anyone regardless of Thai or foreigner. Please come on time for the guided visit. The tour takes around 1-1.5 hr. After finishing the visit, you may take a rest at the cafe on the first floor.

Got a chance visiting in Night museum period. Ticket for 100 baht, you got a tour guide describe a history of the palace. A little bit boring in some point but overall was a fantastic night.

The great place is looking back the Rama V history. Construction began 1909, for staying there and look the farm and livestock in the area.
