We happened to visit on the restaurant’s two-year anniversary, unaware of the celebration, which made it busier than usual. The menu leans more toward European flavors rather than Asian,  and while the food was enjoyable, we were hoping for more popular Asian dishes or fusion options to savor. The staff were attentive and helpful, adding to the positive experience.

Prices are on par with other bar and grill spots in Bangkok. While it’s a nice place, I’d recommend visiting on a regular day without special events for a more laid-back and relaxing experience with your loved ones.

Loved everything about CALM! The vibe is super chill, perfect for a night out with friends. The meat was amazing, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. 🥩🔥 And the cocktails? Just wow, super well-made and so good! 🍹

Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to. If you’re in Bangkok, you have to check it out!

A little gem in Bangkok that makes you feel being on the beach. Great selection of meat cooked on bbq, salads and vegan options. The service was flawless. Try the home made french fries and the desserts. And pet friendly!
Highly recommended for a chill time with simple yummy food.

Kind of a mixed bag really.  To start with the positives.  The restaurant’s garden setting is very nice.  Almost an intimate experience, with a small number of tables.  The garden is nicely shaded for early evening dining.

The food I had was a little bit inconsistent.  The 300 gram ribeye steak, though thinly cut was cooked to a perfect medium rare.  However, the steak lacked seasoning and was a bit dull.  The truffled mashed potatoes were too thin, almost soupy.  The asparagus needed a little more time on the grille.  The beetroot salad was ample but contained almost no feta cheese.

The service let the meal down however.  I was told that no alcohol could be served with my expensive steak even though the time of ordering was well within the permitted hours for serving alcohol.  I was told the police were checking.  I was given the impression that this was an alcohol free day.  I knew this was not true.  This was not on a no alcohol holiday.  About 15 minutes into my meal, I was then told I could order alcohol.  This ruined my dining experience.  I also noticed other customers were not happy about this information.

I must say this misunderstanding was not the fault of my waitress, she was told by other staff not serve alcohol to the customers.

Overall my food was fine but my dining experience was not good.

The vibe is what i loved the most about the place. It was truly calm. There was music playing but the volume was low, felt like white noise. Staff is polite and sincere. Food and drinks, all hit the spot. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Great place to have a date or catchup with friends and family. Best thing about it is that it’s pet friendly!! 10/10 would recommend more people to visit here.
