With an elegant interior Albertina offers a great variety of permanent and seasonal exhibitions. At the entrance you can benefit of a large number of lockers and clean restrooms. Entrance tickets are affordable. Allow 2-3 hrs at least for your visit to enjoy the different exhibitions.

Very nice museum, a bit crowded in certain exhibitions but that's normal when talking about huge artists which the museum promotes, such as Chagall, Monnet or Picasso. Plenty of gorgeous paintings, would need a whole day to admire them all.

We came here to see the Chagall exhibition and were blown away with the extraordinary number of works on display.
In addition there’s a reasonable collection of works by Monet, Picasso, Cezanne, Degas etc, though probably not enough to justify a visit without a major exhibition.
That said the museum itself is a work of art with the state rooms on the top floor well set out, and given its location in the centre of the city, it's a very easy museum to see on a short visit.

A very good museum with a permanent collection and temporary ones. We visited the Monet, Picasso and Chagall exhibitions and they were actually quite good. I am not a fan of Chagall or Picasso, but there were some very good paintings by Monet, Renoir, Degas, Kandinsky and Magritte which I loved. There was also an amazing Robert Longo exhibition!
